    Cool Fuel Mod Re-Work

Hi Ziekman, can you point me to the thread on the problem? I remember reading something about paint peeling on the cool fuel modules. We share the same boat, so maybe I can get proactive if you are seeing issues.

    Oil in bilge

If you drop in a couple of bilge pads you should be able to pinpoint the source quickly if it is not already obvious.

    Bilge day, today

Don't mix the green coolant with the orange coolant (sounds like a movie line). For real - they are not compatible.

    Bike Storage on Boat

We lash them to the bow rail when transporting. We use bungie cords and put the bikes back a bit from the bow so they will not interfere too much with visibility and with the cleats when docking. I do get a little bit of black from the tires but it comes off easily enough. We did get into very...

Keeping the sliding step cabin door sliding smoothly.

After years of fighting this battle, I finally tried tri-flo lubricant and now have zero problems. I only applied once last season and still have no issues. Yes, cleaning the tracks is important now and then, but the lubricant made this persistent issue go away.

    Mounting fenders to the dock

I ran a line through a fender and tied it into a loop, then did the same on another fender. I run the loops around a cleat and hang the fenders over the side, horizontally against the dock face. Makes it really easy to bring them aboard when traveling but otherwise they are there on the dock. Of...

    Suggestions? (non boating)

I feel for you...we are in the early stages of dealing with the same with my father. The only thought I can throw in here is to ask if there is a trusted family doctor who could help you convey the message. Sometimes these things are more palatable coming from a non family member.

Who is using their boat as a Live Aboard and what do you think

We lived aboard for a summer on our 330. We loved it most of the time and did not have problems with space, but we are generally easy going that way (and we get along well). The heat and AC were fine. We hooked up cable at the dock so we had evening entertainment. The summer was great but as...

Official 330/350 (2008 and newer) Thread

Since I have owned my 330, I have said the single ugliest job would be replacing the low water bilge pump under the engines. Well, this weekend I got my chance after it fouled. Had to pull one riser and dangle upside down for a good part of the day to get it done, but all went well. I test both...

My Northstar NS100 VHF is a POS!

Living the Northstar dream. My radio now routinely (but unpredictably) claims there is no antenna and just beeps repeatedly when I key the mike. I have been planning to try replacing the antenna but it sounds unlikely to solve anything based on this thread. What a POS.

    2008 330 Sundancer engine hatch

I had the dealer rewire the hatch lift with a new rocker switch on the dash and an in-line fuse below. This was after they had several consults with Sea Ray over the design problem inherent in the breaker being inaccessible when tripped with the hatch down. I have still had a couple of instances...

Official 330/350 (2008 and newer) Thread

If you hear the motor spinning but the windlass is not turning, it sounds like the clutch mechanism may not be tightened down. If you put the handle into the fitting in the top cap, you should be able to tighten it so it is locked to the internal drum.

We finally oiled the teak flooring in the cabin. Looks great, and no issue tracking it on our shoes. I should have done it a year ago! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Official 330/350 (2008 and newer) Thread

I love my 330... We made the trip from Gloucester to OB (Martha's Vineyard for you Southerners) on July 4. Made a serious captain's mistake and only checked the forecast for North of the canal. I know better after a few snotty trips through Buzzard's Bay. In any event, we found ourselves in...

    Leaks

I have had rain leaks around the stanchions on my 330 resulting in wet carpeting near the vbirth. Not easy to get at but at least most of them can be reached and resealed. It is a two person job - one dealing with the screw heads from above and one with a socket wrench below. Sent from my...

Boy do I feel stupid- Gel coat repair advice please

LOVE this optimistic outlook on life. Damn, lemonade from lemons!! :smt043:smt043:smt043 Good luck with the repair, sounds like it is not serious.

Thanks Britlady. Any issues with the oil getting tracked around or slick? Looks like I have another project this weekend

Official 330/350 (2008 and newer) Thread

After some digging around this past weekend, I think my bilge issue was a slightly loose stanchion on the safety rail. Leaked profusely when sprayed but is now resealed. My hatch lifts chatter when the actuators are not lubed...sounds like a different issue but for the life of me I cannot...
