Hello BAP
The hard top is no big issue its easy to tighten and if your not beeting the snot out of the boat IE 30 knots in pounding seas even then its not really ad issue all the hard tops assemble the same way and attach same as an arch mine was tightend and recaulked since for some reason when they shipped it instead of a low trailor the went with a little to high trailer and had to take it off since then no issues I love it I really dont see a bad bow rise i sit all the time and I dont think its bad at all and i can get it to plane at around 17 to 19 mph with alittle tab at cruise which is 24 to 26 shes pretty flat just a long nose in front of you but the horizon is fine I am 6 ft 3 i dont have to stand at all when cruising its no better or worse then my old 300 da I have V drives so my im alittle heavier out of the hole havent been in one with Axius but I have been on a 390 with axius there is a difference that I can see with the angle on the bow due to being able to trim. all in all i love the boat and the lay out It would be a big difference then the 280 I was surprised how much more boat was in front of me going from my 300 da.
The DTS issue was a known issue and I believe you can have them check your sert to see if you fall into the time frame it was 2007 to early 09 the had the issue with it poping out of gear and not responding I just happened to get one of the 1% that had the issue it dosnt leave you stranded and it was easy to reset and didnt happen all the time once it did they changed out the shifters and no problem since and its been over 100 hrs it happened in the first 45 hrs the boat was new and then again once and a while.
I find it is a pretty responcive boat all in all but like any larger express cruiser if you put the boots to it it will drain the tanks pretty quick but o wouldnt trade the v drive for out drives it was a sight to watch me pull my neices tubing with a 37+ ft cruiser but it cornered well considering not as tight as out drives but tighter then i thought it would Hope this helps if you have any other specfic question let me know Ill try to help as for the Cruiser 360 much heavier boat and I would either go pod drive looking at the fuel numbers on boat test they are pretty comperatable to mine.
Hope this helps
