Bimini Trip 2013

I'm new to the club here, but I think I'd be interested in a trip like this! I'll have to talk to the boss to see if that would work for her and my son, but we may be able to make Memorial Day week-end work. Put me down for a "maybe" at the moment. I'll keep watching the thread...

Good deal, I'll update the list soon

Bimini Sausagefest 2013? C'mon Lance, you can do better than that!

I know but I couldn't resist. Hopefully next year with Addison getting a little older I will make the trip.

Hey Randy, Has anyone given any thought to staying at Bimini Sands for this trip??

Doesn't really matter to me (shower facilities kinda suck) at BBG and I like the floating docks at Sands. On another note, how does everybody feel about a capt. meeting the night before like Randy suggested and what are everyones thoughts about doing the crossing together, if thats even possible??

ODYSSEY, What size Mckee craft is it? Did you designate it a dinghy checking in? Thanks, JC

How about Bimina Bay? Just wondering about your thoughts...

+1 to any that have floating docks, my wife had a time getting in/out of boat at BBG. But I'll go where the group decides, it's all GOOOOOOD!!!!!:smt001

I would prefer BBG. Bimini Sands (have not stayed there) but I woudl prefer to be on North Bimini. I have stayed at Bimini Bay, more expensive and the water is not clear at all. YOu don't get that Bahamas feel. Murcky water for the most part from what I have seen on 3 different trips, 3 different years.

Not sure that I can make it but I will say Bimini Sands was awesome when we went two years ago and has its' own night time party atmosphere and a short boat taxi or dinghy ride to North Bimini. No rolling wake action either compared to the channel by Big Game.

Whichever island you stay on you will have a great time!
