Has anyone done more than add a couple of inches of memory foam to the factory mattress? We have done the above but would like something better. I took the factory mattress (4" of dense foam) to a local mattress manufacture, he proposes adding 2" of less dense foam & topping with a 2" pillow...

Two things my wife misses about our previous boat, notices when we see them on our friend's boats, is the bow access thru a windshield walk-thur & the smoked plexiglass cabin door. I can't correct the walk-thur but have thought about the the transparent door. 1st, why doesn't SR offer...
