Where to stay in St Pete?

[BON DIA]

We arrive TPA ~ 3pm Thur, business takes me to St Pete Thur afternoon for an hr. Cause we're already there, might as well stay & enjoy ourselves. Any suggestions for a cool place to stay? Not looking for any meaningful experiences, just 18 hrs of R,R,R,S&S before heading N to Lutz for the weekend.

Try the Trade Winds. I haven't been there in a few years, but it was nice.

St. Pete Beach motels,hotels aren't busy right now,you pretty much have your pick. could decide when you get here. Have a drink at the Undertow.
