So I pull the carpet yesterday out of the cockpit and good amount of the backing is glued to the cockpit sole. Any one have a good way to get all the black guck up with out spending a couple weeks scrubbing inch by inch. it's real bad....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm out on my dock today and I notice an oil sheen under the boat ( Boat is up on a cradle lift) . kind of like a drop of oil. I go aboard and notice that my drive oil resevoir is Empty, not just low but bone dry!!!. so been check the manual in preperation to check what the heck is leaking...
