Just got the boat back in operation state today after needing a new fuel pump and so I go out to fill my gas caddy and I see all the gas stations in the area have Ethenal 10% blend stickers on them.:smt021

I had to drive around to find one that did not. I an very upset....

has anyone in FL had issues with the ethenal blend fuels...

you should have no issues. keep your filter changed and buy startron!

Umm have you not gotten gas in a while? ALL the gas stations I've gone to have had those stickers for a long time now, I didn't know this was a problem for the boat. Do I need to be looking for gas without it I've been using it. What can I add to the gas to fix this? What kind of damage am I doing?

the really big issue with Ethonal based fuels is that in older boat which have Fiberglass fuel tanks it will disolve the tanks and cuase then to leak. Also for us newer boat owners the Ethonal blends will hold more water, provide lower MPG, lower performance. In a nutshell you can't leave it set in you're boat for long periods of time with out having issues.

Personnal option is that Ethonal is the bigest scam ever perpatrated on the American people. it puts more money in the Oil companies pockets and in the Auto Dealers pockets as it lets the oil companies put less oil into each gallon of gas while charging the same amount as before and the Auto Dealer make money fixing all the issue caused by runing this junk in your cars.

just make sure to add stabil to you're tank if it's going to sit and to change you're fuel filter/fuel water seperator regularly, or have one with a spigot that will allow you to drain the water out regularly.

If it does that to a boat, what does it do to a car? My Titan says it can take E85 but there is none of that around.

E85 is 85 percent ethonal ver. the 10 percent that they have start selling here. you're titian has been engineered to on synthetic fuel; our boats have not....
