Yeah....ridiculous for power over there and that is above and beyond the slip rates which are not exactly inexpensive, but the family likes staying there so we deal with it! If power rates go up anymore, it will be cheaper to just run the genny all night while on the docks over there!

I did not realize Champlain's made their own power. Is that why they try to justify charging $50 per night for electrical over there???

Hey Wetpaint....I have been busy getting the boat cleaned, prepped and launched. Boat went in last Friday, and the first cruise may be this weekend to the Newport St Patty's Day Parade weather pending. It is always a great feeling to have the boat in this early!!!

We are confirmed as well for Illumination weekend. Good times and great fireworks show! Perhaps we should plan a get together for a cocktail or two over there.

Just finished a long weekend of removing the wrap, cleaning, painting, waxing, installing zincs, batteries and eisenglass and canvas. Boat should be getting launched TOMORROW!!! Head down tomorrow to plug in shore power and wait for a nice day to fire up the engines!!

Thanks! Thruster has not been used in well over a month or so, so I am barnacles may be are the issue.

My bow thruster is not working to full power. It is working and pushing some water, but not nearly as powerful as it was. Any suggestions as to what might be the issue? My intial thought was something may be caught in the thruster restricting the flow, but wanted to check with the experts here.

Wetpaint....there are lots of GREAT places to go and stay in Narragansett Bay without ever hitting the open water, and you can make it to open water in 1/2 hour if need be. Newport is a quick run among many other spots that you dont even need to make it to open water.
