New England Boat Show

I might..not sure what day.

I'll probably go twice again this year. Once with the family, the other with the guys. It helps cure the spring fever.

I am. hopefully on a week day, but work has been crazy. I may end up with all the crowds on Saturday.

I am planning on going midweek to avoid the crowds. Just curious how many of you go to the Sea Ray Tent and register as an owner while there?

Yes, you should. We usually come away with a couple (free) Sea Ray ball caps , or tee shirts. Although given the economy we may have to pay to look at the boats!

We will be there too. I will try to download the passes. Thanks for the site link. Most likely on a Sunday early to try and avoid the crowd as the day progresses.

Headed their tomorrow, Sunday, with the kids. Expecting the crowds, but we'll see...

i will be there tomorrow as well.
looking forward to a great show!

I went Saturday. I was surprised they consolidated the show to half of the convention center. The other half was empty. They bunched the boats closer together. I think there were fewer boats and if they had the whole floor, it would have looked sparse. The place was crowded, but again everyone was jammed in half the space, so it may just have looked crowded. Sea Ray had a 450DA, 36DB, and 38DA as as their biggest boats. there was a long line to get on the big boats. The rest of the line-up was there for the 2010 350DA and smaller. I got a new hat to replace the one that flew off in Cape Cod Bay following the whale watch boat out to Stellwagon bank.

I do really like the layout of the 450DA. It has received a lot of criticism for not having a private 2nd state room, but I think the open layout and the big living room aft is very practical.

My absolute show favorite was the Sabre 40. It has an amazing amount of room inside for a 40. Loved the 3 level layout and the door next to the helm. The Back Cove 33 was pretty nice as well, but I wouldn't trade my 330 for one.

Yeah, I was there today. Surprised by how small it was. Half the floor, but they filled all the empty spots with food courts. Seemed you could get food on every isle...

The SR pavillion was a mob fest. Wasn't worth the wait to get on the big DB and DA. Got my hat though and checked out the 390DA and 350DA. Actually liked the 350 better than the 390. But the 450 is a gem.

As far as other brands, I was amazed at the amount or head room and space inside the cabin of the Cruisers 420 Coupe. Just can't get over the lines on her though...doesn't do it for me in that department.
