Once again Guys & Gals stay SAFE !!!.

This just came over the news NYC is being torn up by the wind . :wow:

A construction crane atop a luxury high-rise dangles precariously over the streets after collapsing in high winds from Hurricane Sandy,

Good luck to all you East Coaster in this storm... Im all the way in Wisconsin and it sounds like we're even gonna get some crazy wind... Reports of 30 ft waves on Lake Michigan!!

Here in Upstate NY we are currently getting rain and some strong gusting wind. We are supposed to get more rain and stronger wind by the morning. My heart goes out to all of you guys in the middle of it. Stay safe everyone.

Wow that video is amazing.

I just walked outside my house and the wind is howlllling! There is such an eery feeling being outside right now.

Its early morning in the DC area. According to the local news we did pretty well around here. We were on the westerly side of the storm which meant we got a lot of rain, but the winds were not as bad as to the north and northeast of the center. Winds are down to what seems like a gentle breeze right now (I know it is more than that, but relatively it seems gentle). We're still getting rain and will through most of the day. Heading down to the marina in a few minutes to check out the boat.

Good morning CSR. Lost power late last night and it has turned very cold, 38 when I got up. Going to the boat around 9.

Glad to hear you made it through the storm ok but to EVERYONE leaving their house please watch for down power lines. I am for a utility company in MI and I hear more reports of people dying because they think if the power line is down it dead. Please if you see a power line down call 911 and report and stay at least 20 ft away. We are dealing with down power lines in MI right now and I would hate hear that someone lost there life just to check on there boat(which is hope is ok).

The area we keep the boat at is shut down, water over the piers, half way up the parking lot, good thing I'm on a floating pier, Bob

Our dock manager was smart, they shut down all power to the marina at the main yesterday when the water started to reach the meter bases. Thanks to those in VaPower for the fast response and for understanding the need. Thank you to all those in the area of dealing with these power issues

We got nothing out here, The news hype about that storm had everybody hiding in their cellars. :smt021

The wind is blowing about 10mph.

At my marina now. What a sight. 90Percent of the boats are destroyed and laying on there hulls ontop of each other. Mine along with only a handful of other boats are still safely on there blocks. I couldn't b happier but very upset to c the rest. For the locals reading tropix and the ajoining bar on nautical mile burned down. Along with many on long beach and the rockaways. Hope everybody did as well as I did .....

Hope all is well with everyones families, homes, possesions, and boats. Hoping to hear from you East Coasters soon

According to the news, our area - Bucks County - was apparently one of the hardest hit in the PA area. Gusts were up to 75 mph last night.

It was definitely raining and blowing like crazy!!

There are chopped up leaves everywhere outside. It looks like someone grinded them up and spit them out. Everything is covered.

I have some downed limbs but it appears the big trees held on somehow.

I will inspect everything shortly.

Horrible. Could you grab any pics with your phone?

I was told the Anchorage yacht club marina. Where I keep my boat burnt down and most boats are gone, I'm stuck working in the city and can't verify this report. A dock neighbor who lives 4 blks away from the marina had to swim out of his second floor window so I'm guessing "Mirage" is no longer with us!!! Hope you guys are all ok and your family's

Instead of venting about what is NOT going on where you are send possitive thoughts to where it is needed.

If you had read the whole thread, You'll see where I did a bunch of times. :smt001

Report is I'm still floating. City is a mess to say the least.
