Weather Updates East Coast??

Don't go wading in the water. During Irene 3 kids were electrocuted wading in the water on their street.
 
Yea all the electric hookup boxes are under water or very close too it. I'm nice and coozy in my house. Stocked with beer steak and burgers. 2 tanks of propane and a Lincoln generator to run my whole house. I'm not going anywere. Like I said let sandy take her toll and if need b make a call to ins company on thursday.

Yessum lots of beer can never have enough and as for the soup I bought a box of spicy chicken asian cup of noodles. A lot more flavor and a lot less effert
 
Storm is speeding up. now at 30mph expected to make landfall around 5pm
 
This guy didnt want to stay in Belmar. Decided to leave yesterday. Not sure if he made it.

The Point Plesant canal is still discharging water out of Barnagat Bay when the ocean was at high tide. The wind is preventing incoming tide coming in to canal so tide contiues to go down 2 feet below normal.

He has installed the new roller systems on the poles. Only thing we are worried about is the rollers coming to the ends of the guide. He put 1" rope on all four corners.

Anybody watching twc. Very amusing one of the reporters has his legs spread wide open on the dunes and leaning to the side like he's getting blown over and its only up to 30mph were he is.I kknow its gunna b bad but the exaggeration the reports give of current conditions is quiet comical

We see this all the time. Our news makes us think the world is coming to an end everytime a storm shows up on radar during hurricane season. I hope everybody that's in or near Sandy's path remains safe!
 
Temps are dropping now to 49. This is one of the coldest hurricanes I've been through
 
Why does the media find it necessary to explain this hurricane as if it is going to end the world? Just panics people for reasons I don't know. Irresponsible journalism IMHO
