Has anyone had a custom mattress made for their 290? We have the original pad? The last owner added another layer of something and it is ok to lie in for a while, but not sleep.

I am very curious to see this! How much was it and where did you purchase it from? ThanksMy refrigerator (2.7 cf) inside the cabin is dead and it was going to cost nearly as much to have someone work on it as it did to replace it. Purchased a new Norcold 2.7, much more quiet and efficient, but the face is different. Pics to follow once installation is complete.

I got the Rocna 15 (15 kg or 33 lb). I don’t think anything larger will fit on the roller without modification. So far It has been great. My wife and I were talking about this yesterday. I live in a place where there is always a current sometime up to 4 kts. I have the Rocna 10? and it is useless. I don't think I have ever put it down and not been swept away. Maybe it is the currents but we are looking to upsize our anchor and possibly manufacturer.
You might consider adding an all chain rode if you don’t have one already. My wife and I were talking about this yesterday. I live in a place where there is always a current sometime up to 4 kts. Anybody ever have one of your 2 (pointy, aft, deck windows) leak and if so how did you fix it? There is a strip of molding on the interior and I'm not sure how it is attached. I don't want to break it. My port window above the aft end of the sofa/mattress started leaking. UGGGH. It almost looks as if you can pop the window out from the top, put a new marine silicone bead and reseat it. Is it that easy?
I purchased the Norcold NR751BB from Great Lakes Skipper. $621.00 shipped to Utah. Fits and works perfect with cool blue LED lighting!!
