Obama Infomercial

i am more concerned about what he did not tell you.....watch your 401 K.....the government will own it and you....

Wait until he finds out that you won't be able to carry forward capital gain losses if you make over 100K/year... right after his 401K is abolished....

(geez. . A new one every day. . . )

These fantasies might be better than having my company provided health insurance disappear and social security abolished. . .

They wouldn't do us the favor of abolishing social secruity. Its a huge shell game of a scam that allows the government a way to play hide the money with big bucks. All that money that you sent them over the years is gone... poof... bye bye. So now you are at their mercy as to if you ever get some of it back, how much of it you can get back, when you can get it back, what happens to it when you die, and oh by the way, you still have to pay taxes on it. Such a wonderful plan that we have. I feel so lucky to have had it rammed down my throat. Paying so much for so little makes about as much sense as voting for change without explanation or reason.

A vote for Lou is a vote for poo. (Same ol'.Same ol'.)

Get over it, Obama is going to be our next President! And for the record, Direct TV is owned by Murdoch, a staunch right wing republican...dummy

I'm for a group buy of a marina in the Bahamas.

This coming from someone that said we should be little bit more civil around here?

FIRST BORN.. I'm with you 100% Can we try and have a little civility here? After all, even though we may not agree on many topics, boating is what had brought us to this site in the first place. Have a little bit more respect for one another's opinion AND a little bit more respect for the feelings of others. A Little courtesy goes a long way!

I guess we should not believe what you are saying, kind of like what Obama does.:smt101

Comsnark

The koolaid line forms on the right. The good news is you are second in line behind Saltydogz. Drink up

The coolaid line is definately forming to the right. :smt043

Personally, I will continue to drink my Whiskey.

I know of an Island in Canada for sale we can turn into a sovereign nation. Our "SeaRay" Navy is bigger than Canadas?

Ok, can anyone explain to my Wife why Obama's not the "Real Deal" I'm tired of trying to debate it. She think he's the answer because Oprah said so. We don't have the money now to be affected really one way or the other to be terribley affected right now, but what's being planned is not "fair".

Now I feel bad. Somehow, without a formal education, and my obvious spelling deficiencies, I was able to have a very successful career ,retire at 54 years old, have two successful children, own my home, cars and boat, am basically debt free and have been for 10 years. All that and I still screw up too, to , and two, their and there, weather and whether and the worst offender advise and advice......have pity on me, a product of our public education system. Sorry I made you cringe. Thank god for spell check!!

One of the guys in my office thinks the info commercial was fantastic and even commented how smart NObama was for doing it and referencing his white mother as much as he did. Please. I keep quiet and just listen.

Ok, lets say you run a business and your hiring. McCain and Obama both apply with resume's inhand. Leaving out race, religion, age etc, who are you gonna hire based on experience? Seriously, lets not talk qualifications here as theres no contest.

And what are you trying to imply about Palin/Alaska? Are you trying to look ignorant??? What does living in Alaska have anything to do with the Rusky's? SB

Let's see....George Bush had experience...Jimmy Carter....most of the congress...senators, the banking people who made the decisions to come up with "pick a payment" -plans for homes, etc....

Experience, in my opinion, is overrated for a good majority of things.

And in my humble opinion, I am kind of tired of politicians with "experience."

Over used word in this election and in life. Having "experience" means nothing, and doesnt mean you have the right experience

No, but I cringe everytime I hear how bad our education system is, and those if us who have been through the system make errors that my five year old son would catch.

A quick search of your previous postings illustrates that you do not understand this concept. For example, "Anyway, a word of advise Dom, DON't under any circumstances, go to the Chesapeake. You will try to find a way to never have go back to Barnegat!!!! We took our first excursion yesterday and it as absolutely beautiful."

and

"One of our raft (a 310 Sundancer) broke off and ran to the Coast Guard RIB and told them to "follow me". They refused , again citing the "no scratch" policy and called HQ for advise. At that point my friend had regained consciousness but had no idea where he was or what had happened. The Coast Guard then decided to dispatch a chopper from Atlantic City for an airlift."

I'm just trying to do my public service, that's all. Just like a community organizer I guess. While none of us are perfect, we should strive to be better than average, don't you think?

Dork.
