Thanks Greg.

Alex, sounds like you've put a great Rendezvous together, wish my calendar had cooperated a bit more. I leave for MYC Friday, I'll make sure we leave at least some booze at the bar.

Thanks Brian, I was really looking forward to see you again and have good conversations on our "sisterships", also wanted to check your E-series MFDs as I'm looking to add those. I guess, we'll have to do it some other time and place.

Alex, what else is needed for the tables? I'll bring what ever you need.

Joe, thanks for the offer. So far the only thing we have outstanding is some soft drinks for the table (soda or whatever). I'm sure that adults will drink some other beverage, but we'd need something for the kids. I'll touch base with dockmaster regarding the tablecloths, but for now will go with the assumption that we don't need them.

Joe, I don't think it'll be allowed by the marina and I don't recall seeing them at AC events for that reason. Maybe Ron can correct me, but I just don't recall seeing them. We usually bring the dishes in hot and ready to eat state, covered with aluminum foil. The food stays warm enough for a while.

On the other hand, if we're setting the tables in designated area (not on the docks) then it might be just fine and allowed. Feel free to give MYC a quick call to make sure.

You guys should be glad you're not here at MYC today. We've gotten about 2" of rain in the past three hours with no end in sight. It's pretty torrential, have even lost Sat TV signal a few times. This place was absolutley packed this weekend. I would say the average boat was in the 52' range. A bunch of battleships in the 75' range and three well in excess of 120'. Very nice. Good to se the activity. Gotta love MYC. Just as an fyi for anyone arriving next week; rather than fueling up at SIYC, the dockmaster at MYC will arrange truck delivered ULSD about $.30/gallon cheaper.

Wow, sorry to hear that, Brian. Hopefully, the weather will improve soon for you guys. Thanks for heads up on the fuel, that sure helps.

Alex, We plan to bringing devil eggs and a strawberry spinach salad...

As far a the drinks go, way don't we all bring our own drinks? This way there will be less waste because we can take care of our own kids...

BTW... just finish filling my tanks form the gas station... 20 gallons at a time @ 3.49... Took me 8 trips... Just a few more things to do today, and we should be just about ready to go...

Rod, I made the change on the first page.

As for drinks, sure if you guys think we should just take care of our own (for the kids as we do for adults), then sure. I just know that at AC we always had some soft drink for all. That's why I brought this subject up.

Ditto, rain here in Block! We were supose to come out here today but decided late yesturday to make a run for it and pulled into Champlins at about 7:30 PM last night... I would rather sit on my boat here then back at our dock, but it just cleared up and the rest of the week looks good through the weekend.
See everyone Friday!

Ditto in 3 Mile Harbour, East Hampton..... Poured for several hours. Did the same thing, made the run from Block to East Hampton yesterday rather than today based on the weather they were predicting for today.... It was a good day to clean the drain sump although I don't know if any day is a good day to clean the sump. The design of that thing is horrible! It was pretty clean before our 10 day trip and it was a mess.... I enjoy tinkering with my boat more that just about anything but thats one thing I can do without....

Alex,
This is Tina, MasterFab's wife. I just wanted to confirm what we will be bringing to the Friday night dinner. Dale is busy working on the boat. ...
I will be making a veggie pasta salad and brownies for dessert. We will also be bringing a watermelon for anyone who wants to keep things healthy.
Let me know if we need anything else. Can't wait to meet everyone.
Tina

Alex,
It's official, I'm riding shotgun with Paul on this trip. I know it's a strange turn of events but, who am I to pass up a guy's weekend at sea!! I will definitely bring something for the table I'm just not sure what yet! I will grab it from the restaurant on thursday. I pm'd Greg about the name tags. See you friday!

Todd

thats great to hear. i e mailed paul today to try to sync up.
we have 4 boats that hopefully will travel together

Ron,
I think all of you guys are running out of FI inlet. We are going out the Moriches inlet. If the timing works maybe we can see you on the Atlantic!

let me know your est departure time, place.
maybe paul and gerard spoke???
im awaiting word on the plan...

I got a message from Joe that you, he & Gerard were running out of the FI inlet. Did you guys talk? It doesn't make sense for us to shoot that far west then double back. As long as the weather is good we figured we would just shoot out the Moriches inlet around high tide. I believe we are departing from Patchogue around 7:00 am. I forget the exact chart for high tides @ moriches but I know they are posted in this thread.
