It brings in all available engine data but environment data, no gps heading, steering angle, clock (cannot set manually), waypoint eta, etc. Anything your engine pcm ourputs will display. To get everything back with your current gps you would need a N2K backbone and convert NMEA 0183 data to N2K.

Yes fits all 8.1 models, NAPA knowledge depends on employee & how much they care. The gasket looks different but works fine & saves you a bundle. We keep 2 spares on board as they fail often. Also keep clean IAC filters in throttle body to help life span.

Gasket is a Ford number, but works fine. IAC also fits Ford Aeorstar van, go figgure.

Common problem with GM engines as plastic is used where aluminum should be.

Most common problem with conditions as you described is water pressure sensor, I keep two on board. A low reading will cause limp mode, High will just ring the bell. Have someone check first so you don't waste money, but common cause.

Just checked as I am a dealer & that is the correct part number, gasket has two round holes rather than full cut-outs, but no worries, it works just fine & at about half the cost. Calibration numbers are the same.

NAPA part number 2166509, gasket 71216. This is the standard IAC for the 8 cylinder, just double check for the 6.
