Wasn't there a recent post by an administrator regarding putting a bit of fun back into the site? Well, I just had a blast reading all this childish nonsense. Yeh, it's a drag that any kind of boat gets stolen but I'm sure we've all got a good mental picture of what Rusty's boat looks like and if we were to stumble on it we would at least get in touch with him to let him know. We'll probably find him at a Sea Ray dealer somewhere, looking for his next boat!! :wink:

So this guy has his boat possibly stolen. I agree that no matter the boat, that sucks. When people are able to get way with this it may affect you. Are Bayliners the best boat? No. Are Sea Rays the best boat? No. We all have boats that are a step above and it's obvious that there is hard feelings with the BOC group. When they start talking about the character of the people here, that is a bit much. We tease about Bayliners but I know that the brand of boat would not dictate whether or not a CSR member would assist them in an emergency situation. I hope this boat is recovered and I will not make fun of the boat or any of the accessories on it because it's a Bayliner. I tease Bayliners like anyone else but they are boats that mean something to most of their owners. As far as BOC members spying on CSR is concerned, good Lord, why bother? Keep your business to your site and stop concerning yourselves on what is happening on CSR.

Nobody said "he deserves it because its a bayliner". Why wouldn't they want to spy on us. Their just lusting over what they can't have. Let em run their mouths with their bayliner dribble, its the way they make them feel good about themselves.
 
Just for the record; We have friends with a Bayliner, and it is a very economical and comfortable boat. Next year we may even launch it and take it for a ride on the lake.

I made a comment a couple years ago about some stuff GoAweigh said and got pounced on by quite a few about how great he is. Maybe he's a nice guy, but I stand by original statement. He is an instigator and his childish little tattle on BOC was completely unnecessary. It's too bad about the boat. Life's a b!tch and things happen. Life is short. Learn to laugh a little; and GoAweigh, being "admin" for that site is the only one I see regarding this thread that should be ashamed of himself.

You folks are acting so third grade. Don't you realize this guy's boat is missing and he will need to put thousands of dollars along with his insurance settlement just to replace it with a SR?

Didn't you realize you would raise the ire of BOC with your heartless posts? Wayne made sure that all seen what the boat looks like which included the hideous arch. You are a bad man Wayne, being so heartless as to post that for thousands to see and be aware of. I know if I see it I will report it just to have the guy arrested for stealing a Bayliner.

Hope you know I'm pulling your leg here.:lol:

Look, if any of us saw the boat we'd report it! By the way, is there a name for the boat or a hull number? Except for the arch, all Bayliners of the style and size look kinda alike ( I don't mean that as a bad statement) heck we have two just like it at or dock now, the only difference is the name on the stern.

I stand by my earlier post, would he really want the thing back? The way I see it, she's ether drug runnig by now or stripped of anything useful. To get the thing back he would have to put a ton of money into her, would it really be worth it just to say "I got my boat back"
 
I'm now aware of this stolen boat, because it's such an active thread, otherwise I would've missed it. So what's so bad about some harmless ribbing re: your choice of boat brand? I've never owned a Toilet Liner, but if any of my old tubs were stolen, I'd be plenty upset. They were my pride and joy, even if they weren't some fantastic yacht.

We need to buy a 2014 model. I heard they come with a glass (see thru) floor so we can see last years model. :huh:

I am Sea Ray loyal and proud of it.... I own one so I have no need to join BOC to keep an eye on what y'all do over there like you seem to do here.

the glass bottom line was awesome, i slipped off the couch laughing.
 
When I'm out motoring around in my SR yacht I am full of pride and feel such grandeur knowing I own one of the best on the market.:lol: So what it's a 76 model, so what it's only 20ft long, yes it is yellow instead of one of those trendy pastel colors, it only has one engine and no dinghy. It could be a dinghy on many of your boats on this site.

When someone asks me what kind of boat I own I proudly declare "a Sea Ray".
If that makes me a snob then so be it. Does that mean I wouldn't help or aid a fellow boater who owns another brand? NO!! Even snobs like me have a responsibility to aid those who are in need.

As for trolling the BOC site. If I do it it’s for the sheer pleasure in reading the angst of those re-posting CSR threads.
