Heres a BOC member that needs some help finding his boat..

Our boat has disappeared!
I went for my regular drive-by at the marina last night and - no boat!!!!
It is the worst feeling in the world. Shore power cord and water hose neatly wrapped up on the dock beside my completely empty slip.

If anyone around the Sunshine Coast/Lower Mainland/Strait of Georgia can please keep an eye open and spread the word it could help. Its a 2001 Bayliner 2455, alpha I, tan canvas cockpit cover, black fenders, and a white radar arch. The arch is kinda unique. It is a custom after market add-on. I am hoping that maybe somebody spots it.

RCMP file is opened and we have notified our insurance company.
As best we can confirm at this time it was in the slip at the Lighthouse Marina in Sechelt Inlet as of October 20.

Thanks for looking out for it.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO APPREHEND !!!!
anyone who stole a Bayliner is desparate
and potentially mentally unstable

That actually happened to me 3 weeks ago. Went to the marina to clean out the last remaining items before she was pulled. Was a BEAUTIFUL day and was looking forward to one last voyage. Get to my slip....NO BOAT. The boat on the hard as I was driving in did look awfully familiar. Pulled the wrong boat out. Sh*t Happens!

My first thought was hauled for winter. Second thought was Repo.

I went to my marina today to check on the winterizing of my boat. I saw the boats in my section were being raised. I walked in to check mine out...and it was gone. I walked down to where the guys were working and asked about the Sea Ray from slip 56. One of the guys told me they had to move it to another slip, as my slip didn't have the height. I almost had "the big one" on the spot when my slip was empty. Anyway...hope you find your Bayliner.

I am on the island and will keep my eye out for you

We're in the Okanagan. Sometimes we see lower mainland boats advertised on the local "Craigslist" as well as the one in the Shuswap region. We'll keep an eye out for you.

I started with a 16' Bayliner with an old Force motor....I was never so happy to see that thing sold and gone!

I do feel for the owner, no matter what boat you own....ITS YOURS TO BE PROUD OF

C'mon, this is the guys pride and joy and this how we "help"?

Doesnt make me proud to be part of this group.

Really??? What a bunch of insecure babies. All their indignation was sparked by Go Aweigh2452, one can read his posts and see what he was starting, like he has before.

NO ONE has in any way been "beating up Rusty", just a little brand joking while nearly a thousand boaters were made aware of a stolen boat. I doubt Rusty would be upset by the jokes if in the fray one of the users spotted his boat and it was returned.

Get over it...

As far as Wayne posting it, you know he knew there would be bashing...

Yep GO AWAY, I posted it so everybody would bash Rusty's stolen boat... NOT !!!

I agree tougher skin is needed. It was just a joke and anyone who took it otherwise needs to smile a bit more.

Regardless I brands I sure hope they find the boat and she is in the same condition she was when taken. If not hopefully insurance will get Rusty into another boat. I have had a few I my toys stolen and it is the worst feeling in the world. As I stated in a previous post I am keeping an eye out for her on the island
