It's hard to make light of it, but everyone got off and no one was hurt. Thing's, even a 55 DA, can be replaced.
If it hasn't been posted yet, this happened on Lewisville Lake, one of our home lakes here in the DFW area last weekend, Sunday July 27th.
Apparently it's believed to have been electrical (haven't heard anything official yet, but I'm sure that'll be a while) by the time he grabbed a FE the fire was beyond being safe to try to fight with it so he slid the ski off and got away. Apparently everyone else on board was already out in the water bobbing and enjoying the 100+ degree weather when it started.
We weren't out Sunday but a friend got some of these pic's. These pictures were taken by a couple different people, including some I know personally and some acquaintances but all were posted on a local forum called Lake Pirate Forums (www.lakepirateforums.com). Some of you might find it pretty cool, some might not, but you'll still look! :smt043
Here's how we usually see Gabe's Toy. Party Cove Lewisville Lake. The rest are self explanatory.
