Selling my 290 Sundancer!

Wow, the day has finally come. Sorry to see the old girl go, she has been a tremendous help and inspiration in keeping my boat on the water. Good luck

I have a buyer and a contract. I have been on phone and email with buyer's bank working out the details......money is not yet in my account..... but I am darn close.
I will post details when all is done.

Your boat needs to be very, very clean and you must be willing to come off your price quite a bit.
 
It is and did. Boat is turnkey. Just haven't found that right buyer yet. Glad you found somebody for yours.
 
I am hearing sales are picking up. Just talked to a local boat dealer today. He said they did great on sales at the boat show last month.

Here is the latest update. My 290 is sold (the buyer is a great guy and a now a new member of CSR). The deal I had cooking on the 1995 Carver 325 fell through at the last minute. It was listed at 39,900 and I offered 38K (I wanted to come in strong as it was priced right). The broker told me they may have another offer coming in that night and he would let me know.
I wasn't sure if he was playing me so I let it ride for the evening. You have got to be kidding? The boat has been for sale since last Summer, I drove my family 2.5hrs (6 weeks ago) to look at it, and the day I make an offer there is another buyer with money in hand? He calls me the next morning and said it sold!
So I am boat shopping again.
I have my eye on two boats. One of them has twin 350 Jasper reman Crusaders with 120hrs on them. Broker says they have paperwork from Jasper.
I have heard good things about Jasper but am cautious........thoughts?
 
Sad day......I put my heart and soul into that 290. Exciting to be boat shopping though.

The price would have to be low and why the replacement? Jasper would not be a deal maker for me.....350's last forever unless froze or no service, Mike.
