There'a a verse in the good book that says "Iron sharpen Iron, Prov 27:17". That's what we do here, keep each other on our toes.

How convenient to not have evidence of the body... Is Obama really that freekin' stupid? Why would anyone care about Islamic traditions w/regards to this mass murderer?!

They should have put him in a box and put him on display and let anyone that wanted to go spit on him, do it... Maybe even sell $100 tickets to see his busted up body... could have made billions.... and face him towards PA (instead of Mecca) and bury him upside down wrapped in bacon.

Wonder if they read him his constitutional rights before they killed him.... Or better yet... maybe we got him 22 virgins as part of the deal.

The Obama speech was good until he started saying "I"... after that, it lost all credibility.

As he walked away from the podium, all I could think of was the theme song from "Get Smart" ...

I heard one report that when he was bagged and dumped into the ocean the bag was weighted so it would take him to the bottom.

Well. . .let's be clear on one thing: Burial at Sea after a battle in a City is NOT in the islamic tradition.

Doing the cleaning rituals was simple window dressing for the "no grave" part of what the U.S. government decided to do with this guy (not that I am complaining. . .I am just saying).

. . .and my only problem with Alcohol is that I don't have any right now.

Pack, gotta disagree with you man. The military works for the American people. The commander and chief is a figure head guided by staff and advisors. Any idiot can say "go get em" once the folks on the ground have gathered the intel and done all the leg work. It doesn't take much guts to pull the trigger when someone else has found the prey and is holding the gun.

Just my opinion.

OldSkool: Lets consider one thing my friend, who's ass was on the line if that operation went horribly wrong? Yes, any idiot can say go but it takes guts to say go when the outcome has the potential to be awful. I'm not saying he deserves all the glory but he does not deserve the ridicule he is receiving, remember it was a great thing and long anticipated in this country. Why can't we all just be happy that Bin Laden was finally brought to justice?
 
If Georg Bush was still at the helm, the democrat controlled Senate would have demand impeachment hearings....

I think we all need to give thanks that the victims of 9-11 my now find just a small measure of peace in their lives.
