What is so DUMB is how the dork Obama administration is saying they "take these things seriously" about honoring his islamic traditions. What part of shooting him in the head follows "islamic traditions"? That would be like me killing my dog and then going to volunteer at an animal shelter.

How convenient to not have evidence of the body... Is Obama really that freekin' stupid? Why would anyone care about Islamic traditions w/regards to this mass murderer?!

They should have put him in a box and put him on display and let anyone that wanted to go spit on him, do it... Maybe even sell $100 tickets to see his busted up body... could have made billions.... and face him towards PA (instead of Mecca) and bury him upside down wrapped in bacon.

Wonder if they read him his constitutional rights before they killed him.... Or better yet... maybe we got him 22 virgins as part of the deal.

You guys all know my very low opinion of mr. obama, so don't take this as my just wanted to rip him to shreds. I want to know why they chose to bury Bin Laden at sea? Shouldn't he have been brought back to the US for further DNA testing? I would think that his quick disposal gives the Islamic nutjobs out there the perfect excuse to now say we are making it all up. What possible gain did we have by getting rid of the body so quickly?

I think it's fine burying his rotten carcass at sea and if any of his followers would like to visit him we'd be more than happy to drop them off too!

I'm glad we got him but it bothers me a bit to see people singing the National Anthem like a bunch of drunkin bums. Let's be a little professional out there....it's not a Super Bowl party. It also bothers me we lost a chopper due to a mechanical failure....could have been another Iran rescue disaster. Hard to believe our $$$ equipment is not up to the task. Blowing up the chopper and setting the compond on fire is a nice way to leave though! The quick burial at sea is an odd act.....who knows what thats about? The CIA has been so watered down I'm surprised they finally got him. Obama may have gave they the ok to go in but that's about all he did. Thanks Team 6 for getting the job done, Mike.

I agree! How about a video taped behedding followed by dragging his remains around behind a Hummer? Then we could hang his body from a bridge and set it on fire!! This is what he deserves and I would enjoy watching it but, I guess it's not really practical. This is probably Obama's way of trying to placate the MODERATE muslims (oxymoron?) in the world to show we are not the evil infidels. I'm actually going to reserve judgement on the Presisdent on this one.....for now.

I agree here too. Act like you've been here before. On the other hand, it was nice to see the excitement and jubilation in the youth of this country for something other than another Obama campaign speech.

As far as the helicopter goes, the news stated that it MAY have been brought down by enemy fire.

GO Navy. This is great. The one issue I had with Obama's speech is his use of the words "My team" and "My Joint Chief of staff" ....I, I, I. No it's our troops, our team, our country and our Navy seals. This was tough to listen to. "the team acted by My direction". He made it clear he wanted to take huge credit for this.

Fast burial is common in countries in the HOT countries of the Middle East.

I am no expert, but I highly doubt that "burial at sea" is part of the Muslim tradition.

The point here is simple: Dispose of the body quickly, before anyone raise the issue of a proper Muslim burial in the ground at a spot that people can use as a rallying point.

The message couldn't be simpler => we deny you a resting place where anyone can come mourn your passing.
