Correct, something tells me that when we get a little closer to the re-election, Obama will change his mind on drilling.

As for around here, gas has gone up 10 cents today. So the early hunch is the recent events will not be good for gas prices.

Obama definitely did one thing: he ordered the strike.

- he didn't use drones
- he didn't ask Pakistan
- he didn't even warn Pakistan

That's not trivial. He ordered a commando strike in the heart of country that is nominally an American ally. There are SO many ways this coukd have gone horribly wrong.

Yes - there is a lot of credit to go around. Lot's of people made it happen. He's just the guy who was RESPONSIBLE. McCain(so say the left wing blogs) stated in '08 that he would not have made that decision.
