Yeah I heard the same thing Scottie. It had to be last week I would think to derive a positive DNA test result. Either way, I'm glad the SOB is dead and he can rot in satans lair for eternity!!BTW, I have to say, beside the date mix-up that was possibly the best speech I have seen Obama give!

[Updated, 12:24 a.m. ET] A team of U.S. Navy SEALs carried out the operation in Pakistan that ended in the death of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, CNN's Chris Lawrence reported. The operation lasted about 40 minutes, and the team had practiced the raid a few times.

Go Navy!!!!
 
Just updated on Fox that the order was given on Friday 4/29/11 and that the attack took place TODAY (Well, yesterday, Sunday)!! They must have had one heck of a CSI team there to confirm the DNA that quick!!

Congrats to the SEALS for a job well done!! God bless the military and this great country!!
 
Give it a rest Scott. You don't get to have it both ways. We all know that if something went wrong, you would be front accusing the President of all sorts of stupid things.

Note that this was not a video game mamby-pamby "drone" operation, but was a literal "bring me his head" Operation that required real American boots on the ground in a foreign country.

Kudos to everyone for getting it done right.

So this is good news for sure, but are we sure something will actually change?

Is it me or since 9/11 the world has changed for the worse, for ever?
 
At last he is history but do any of us really believe anything is going to change???? The terrorists have already done what they set out to do and that is change the way we go about our daily lives. We will never go back to the way things were prior to 9/11, never.

Effectively all that has been achieved, besides the feeling of justice for 9/11, is to temporarily cut off the money that Osama made available to fund the terrorist activities of Al-Qaeda. They will soon find another source of funds to wage there activities, this will be seen as nothing more than a set back to them.

Are you SH!TING ME?! They shoot him and drag him out to a navy ship and dump him over the edge to "honor the deep Islamic faith and traditions"?!?!

How convenient to not have evidence of the body... Is Obama really that freekin' stupid? Why would anyone care about Islamic traditions w/regards to this mass murderer?!

They should have put him in a box and put him on display and let anyone that wanted to go spit on him, do it... Maybe even sell $100 tickets to see his busted up body... could have made billions.... and face him towards PA (instead of Mecca) and bury him upside down wrapped in bacon.

Wonder if they read him his constitutional rights before they killed him.... Or better yet... maybe we got him 22 virgins as part of the deal.
