Osama bin Laden is dead!!!

I'd bet that you wouldn't be any different if it was Hillary, Gore or Kerry and you are no different than those that constantly attacked Bush. As long as we continue to be divisive in politics we will swing from one extreme to another.

+1

Sheeple are not rare at either end of the spectrum.

If the Navy Seals had not shot Obama----oops I mean Osama in the head and that had captured him instead, would they be allowed to water board him?

OK to shoot him even if he is unarmed..........not so much on the water boarding thing ?

What's up with that ???

Why is it ok for police to shoot a criminal who attacks them when they try to arrest him but not ok to beat them once they are handcuffed and in custody?

Because Police are paid to be professionals not thugs.

There is a difference.

Look, the President's orders to shoot OBL (assuming that was the actual order) in a foreign country and then hauling away the body to be dumped at sea was most definately illegal.
Make no mistake about it. It is most definately an act of war against Pakistan. The Pakistani's are really upset for a reason. We certainly would not permit Canadian helicoptors swooping into Albany to raid a drug den, would we?

Now. . .as President. . .Obama holds a high degree of accountability, and as President he had to go before the American people to be held accountable for his actions, and why he ordered US soldiers to do what they did.

We all approve.

End of discussion (almost).

(you know. . .if we the people didn't approve. . . .or if the raid failed. . . .things would be quite different)

Do you have any idea how many quarters we would have to put in one of our choppers to go that far.

Actually, Canada and the US work together on lots of similar police/border issues up here! Albany's not that far a helo ride from the border.

On the outside it looks every bit like an illegal action on an unknowing country. We did not get permission to carry out this raid however it makes it plauseable for the Pakistan government to be seemingly outraged to the Arab nations while still ridding itself of this maggot. They have it both ways. Still get the US money but retain their brotherhood with the Arab world.

Now they get to play with the new toy we left in their back yard. OOPS the US left behind a token for Bin Ladens head.

I love a conspiracy theory and there are plenty for this thread.

Heck, folks cross our southern boarders every day by the truck load and we feed, clothes, medicate them and deliver their babies. We dumb down our schools and teach Spanish to our children so we can help them get by. I must press 1 to talk English in the country I was born in. Why would we respect anyone else’s boarders when we don't even respect ours.

I won't get into the argument on what to do with the ones that are here but we can all agree that our southern boarder is a joke.

This is what our government is doing to most people. :smt021
Our country is in the sh*tter and it doesn't look good for our kids. :smt100

that is if you could find a Canadian sober enough to fly the helicopter!

Bring it on you Pakistani liars! Hide that bastard and then blame us for coming in and making a little mess?

The operative phrase being "work together".

I doubt that lack of forewarning, blacking out the neighborhood, jamming cell phones, probably jamming every radar within 100 miles would be considered working together.

Not that there is anything wrong with that. I bet all of those elements were necessary to make it happen - and I bet even the pakistanis realize this.
