Afternoon all. I do not own a 370 owner but in the market and this boat is in my top 5. There seems to be a lot of concern of under power when getting on plane (true or false doesn't matter). As these boats are now getting older has anyone had issues with the Verado's and if so has anyone switched to a different model and more specifically a different HP (350's or bigger)? Thank you from a curious potential owner.
Chad…as modelsh said…the props are the key. Power is fine. Switching from 15p to 13p made a world of difference. Once I made the switch, no issues getting on plane within a few seconds with full load. Max speed is around 38, down from 41 but not a big deal to me. Cannot beat the cabin space of this boat and the outboards are so much easier than inboards for maintenance and location (I’m in SW FL). My wife and I have spent alot of nites anchored out and with the cabin and grill/cooktop on deck it’s awesome.
We’ve looked at the Aquila power cats for our next boat in 6-8 years to live on. Great boats!
