Official 370 Venture thread

Hi, need to replace full windshield and tower arch for my 370 venture. Someone can help me with oem measures or know how I can get a new one. Sea Ray not selling it.
Thanks
Where are you located? I’m sure someone would let you come measure.

I would almost consider something custom. This is the one area where searay missed out on this boat.

have you called searay and asked for the measurements? They may supply those if they have no intentions of making more tops.

Will call them tomorrow, previously I contacted MarineMax. They told me this “ Unfortunately, this part is NLA. It was manufactured in-house, and we can only go back five model years to provide in-house parts.“ Reason now I’m trying to get measurements.

Hi, still not answer from Sea Ray if someone here can provide me with arch measurements. Thanks

Im in MD and happy to give some rough measurements if you want. What are you specifically looking for? However, I agree with a previous post...if you are going to have it done now is the time to make some custom adjustments. You have a clean slate to work with. Make the arch a little longer and/or the windshield a little taller, etc. Whoever is doing this work wont use our measurements anyway. Let me know if you want some measurements I will be at the boat tonight working on a few projects. Lastly...what happened to the previous arch and tower? Storm damage?

Hello mdolesh, yes I am in this project now to fix the damages that it obtained because of a storm, the boat lost the arch and the windshield. Sea Ray does not have the measurements because according to them it is molded. And yes, I would appreciate it if you help me with the measurements if possible. I will also take into account what you told me about the height.

Hi. Just saw your post. It's giving me hope we can find a solution to our performances problems. We purchased our Venture a couple of seasons ago. We're having similar issues on our 2014 370 with the hole shot. After you switched to the 15.6 x 13 prop, what RPM and speed do you cruise at and what is your WOT RPM and speed?

Thanks!!
Wanted to follow up on this post about the 15.6 x 13 props. It took some doing to find them but we just launched for the season up here in NY and what a difference these props made. (BTW - found the props at Prop Depot out of Tennessee. They were extremely helpful and I would highly recommend them https://www.propdepot.com ) The boat literally jumped out of the hole. Got to 5K RPM in a second or two and the boat planned within 10 seconds. Cruising at 26 MPH at about 4,700 RPM. Just want to say thanks for sharing. Looking forward to a great season!

I’d be glad to discuss any and all of it with you or anyone who owns a 370 venture. That boat would’ve had at least two 400s on it from the very start if they were available I am extremely happy with the re-power. My cell phone is 772-6315005 Mike
Instead of us all calling you, could you just give some overall comments, concerns and new performance numbers? Cost would be great too, but know that can be touchy. Thanks in advance!

Hi, anyone who can provide me with windshield Taylor made part number, can be found under the screw cover on the port side, there should be a white sticker. Thanks

Hey Chris. Sorry I gave it to another Venture owner a few months ago. However, if you need canvas you can call Gioia Sails. They have the patterns for our boat. Welcome to CSR!

Curious what Venture owners are seeing for maintenance after 10 years. How are the engine holding up? Was the enclosure technology a fail? Causing engine problems? Generator. I currently have a Formula 37PC and it like to eat outdrives as that boat is probably too heavy to have I/Os. Thanks for any insight on whether a Venture would be a good fit for us…We love the layout and want less maintenance issue and were thinking Outboards might be the answer.
