Official 330 Sundancer Thread

Does anyone know the height of the arch on a 330 Dancer, '96-'99 vintage? I need to find out the height from the water line to the top of the arch without any electronic antennas or radar. Need to know for clearance at a bridge near a potential new marina.

Keel to arch is 13'6"

Here are the specs from the manual:

According to the owner's manual supplement, 10' 9" to waterline, 13' 1" to keel.

All:
Could use some experienced guidance please. Another vessel damaged the deck railing on my 1995 330 DA. It smashed downward on the bow pulpit portion and destroying one of the uprights and twisting the port side. Does the whole thing need to be replaced or are there operations out there that can cut and weld sections of stainless tubing? Are there OEM kits available for purchase? I have searched on line, and most of what I find are raw materials and fittings. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

I had the same thing happen. I was able to trailer my boat to a local machine shop, specialty welder to fix. After welding new pipe, cleaning and buffing welds, it looked like new. Much cheaper than buying marine rail sections.

I also had that happen to my 260 OV. However, I did not have a trailer. A local shop came to the boat and replaced only the sections needed. When they were done, it looked and performed as good as new.

Hey folks, new 330 owner here with question. I can't seem to locate on boat the board that allows you to covert the dinette to a bed. I have all the cushions. Is it just a piece of wood? Is there anything that supports it underneath?
if anyone had a pic to share of it so I'd have a mugshot of what I'm looking for would be much appreciated.

The "board" slides out from under the bed if you have the curved dinette. There is a short vertical support board slides underneath and fits into a track. Sorry, no pics right now

I don't have a picture of the sliding board on its own, but here is a picture of the support board in position under the sliding board.

If it's like my 1994 it is just a board that folds for storage (doesn't have the vertical brace shown from the later models). There is a storage spot for it under the v-berth cushions where it fits and snaps on straps that hold it in place when in use also hold it in place in the storage.-greg

On the later 330's the board is permanently under the curved dinette seat and pulls/slides out. You then put the support underneath as per my picture, and then fill the space with the seat back cushions and one extra curved cushion that I store under the seat.

Hello 330 owners. My wife and I are looking at moving up to 97-00 model.I have a question I see a lot of them with brown almost rust color coming a thru hull fitting.Starboard side most furthest back.Is that discharge from generator?Or bilge pumps? I know,on my 270 that thru hull fitting is for cockpit floor water run off. Thanks for info.

Thanks for the replies on the board for dinette bed. It's def gone. I see under berth where it should be snapped in place. I'm just curious if I could just cut a piece out of 1 inch plywood?

My bilge pump thru-hull has a little rust colour stain to it.

They are both bilge pumps. One is the lower bilge and one is the upper bilge, I think... I put a piece of hose inside the outlet to prevent it from dripping down and staining. Works nicely.

ok, another question and sorry in advance as this is a new boat to me. I filled my fresh water up this weekend and the system pressurized and faucets work. the toilet did not. I know the previous owner replaced the pump style? with an electric model. There is a switch on the wall next to head to push to flush. there is a small pump on back of toilet. I did figure out that it seems it is pulling water from a seacock for the toilet not my freshwater. I verified that is open and the strainer was not obstructed. Just have no power going to this system. Frustrating. Anybody have some suggestions on where to start? or a mystery switch I may have missed?

Well, found the fuse link tot he electric toilet. kept popping new ones. Took apart the pump on the back of toilet (what a poopy job BTW) and seems the wet or poopy end of pump so to say is no moving well. I think the rubber impellor I swollen or something.Maybe due harsh cleaners? Ordered the rebuild kit for that. Seems like the AC pump has the same issue, wet end is locked up. Again, appears they make a rebuild kit for that as well. So out $100 for both rather than $1000. I'd say I did good then, LOL

image.jpg Hey gang I just joined the 330 club after having three different 37' Sea Rays over the past 15 years. Looking forward to learning about the boat and contributing to this thread. Mine is a 1999 with a cherry interior. The sofa in the salon is unusual in that it is straight with no curve at all. It looks like it might convert into a bed but I'm not sure. I haven't seen many with this type of sofa. Not sure if I like it yet but we'll see.

Welcome to the 330 Club Mark. My 99 has the straight sofa as well. The top rocker switch as you enter the cabin will raise and lower the backrest on the sofa. It's a nice big bed for one person, but a little tight for two adults.
