Jones Beach Air Show

Alex,
Great that you are now in! You can take over the events coordination as well :) The state channel runs parallel to the beach. As brian said, from jones inlet to Zachs is fine. It gets a little skinny east of Zachs... by Captree. We hope to get there Friday afternoon, but if that doesn't happen, early Saturday
 
OK guys, after a 5 month hiatus I am back! Spent the Winter working my ass off building my new business... But now that I have my priorities straight, it's boating season! We really look forward to joining you South Shore guys. I have wanted for years to attend this air show (being a weekend pilot myself), but just thought logistically to difficult. And we may be bringing some friends....:smt038
 
Very nice! Glad u can make ità should b a really good weekend! Let's just hope the weather holds out. ThIs end has been brutal the past couple weeks. Just hasn't stopped
 
Yeah, I really hope the weather cooperates this year. We've waited until last minute last year until we decided to bail out since we had two out of three cold and rainy days.

Two more weeks, come on South winds bring us some warm weather.
 
Last year was a disaster. 3-5 all weekend in the gsb my boat took a beating. But high hopes for this year! Its gunna b gorgeous!

I'm also swamped with projects, but hope to put some on hold and come back after the memorial day weekend trip.
 
My boat will probably look like a construction zone, but I'll be there.

Ripped out the old carpet and hardwood flooring. We'll see if the new stuff arrives in time.

The new TV install is almost done, so that should be finished.
 
So, we'll be watching the big screen TV on Lady TAZ and have the awesome sound come out of Mirage.....I'll contribute the blue lighting and martinies.....:lol:

Lets hope the weather will let us enjoy the fruits !!!!!! Especially the strawberry and piña colada......

What day is everybody getting to Zachs? I'm expecting to set an anchor 4PM ish, and buzz out Monday. I know of 3 boats outside of CSR that are doing about the same ,and another 3-5 that are day tripping. Its always tough to coordinate who is where, and we end up creating a satellite raft up (separate from CSR). My preference would be to keep all the groups together as one, so a little pre-game coordination is needed. All kidding asside, a spreadsheet may help - LOL

I was thinking the same, Paul. But I have to confess that I just didn't have the time to read every single post to capture the names. I guess, I'll just have to make the effort and do it.

Is kenny really gunna try zacks with the pershing? I guees iys doable. We have a pretty nice crowd. This year. I'm excited. !

I erased the old name from the spreadsheets, let me know when a new name will be official. I guess at Zach's we can do the naming ceremony?

So far I've heard that it looks positive for Kenny, but we won't know for sure until much later.
