Jones Beach Air Show

About a week away......
Shrink wrap off and boat waxed well sort of...... Hull needs to be redone... there is a story behind that, but that's will be a conversation over drinks!
Should splash late this week or next. Then hope all is running ok. As you recall, we had some issues before the winter. Can't wait for the season to start.

We will be ready for you. Can't wait to see how you will organize the bungee diving off your bridge with the new dance floor installed.
Harold,
I expect a number of people to raft for the day and go back to their marinas at night, so no worries. While the raft will never be as organized and as thought out as an Alex production, people will peel away from the raft as need be.
It's all about fun and safety.
Speaking of fun, Paul, when are you taking delivery of that new baby?

Harold, rafting up is what the event is about. Don't be a stranger when you see CSR gang. BTW, you can always drop off your friends at Nautical Mile and rejoin the raft.

Soo who's ready? Couple more weeks! I can't wait. I may go Friday but if not def Saturday morning but due to some "things" I have going on I still need to be at the end of the raft and at the ready to peel off at any time.... and ill b staying for as many days as I can. And if u need to find me at any point ill b sitting on joes new swimnplatform drinking a guiness! How manydefinetes so far?
 
Has anybody heard from lady taz? I shot him a couple texts a while back with no response and havnt seen him post in a while
 
Still waiting to splash...Was gonna be this week, if the weather cooperates.............
 
I am planning to go to the show on Saturday. We won't be able to stay over as we will have friends with us who need to get back to shore. I have my CSR burgee on the bow, so keep a look out for me.

I will also bring some Guiness to join the party on Joe's dance floor! I also hope to have a case of Kilkennys that my friends brought back from Canada for me....who wants one?
 
Woke up this morning to find ice on the grass, my deck and the cars and most depressingly on the boat! What is going on?

Flew in from Tampa at 11pm last night in shorts, drove home in a driving snow!!!! What the???? Come on already enough is enough! I need to finish the boat
 
Its our cold azz Canadian friends that is sending us this crappy weather. :smt021

If they can't go boating, They think we shouldn't either.
 
I think it's just my bad carma. If I'm not mistaken I put a post a couple weeks back saying who's ready for the Air show and boom it snowed that night too so I'm just gunna stop talking about it. I came out of the cabin at 5 am to go to work and had a solid 1/8 inch of ice on the entire boat. Its amazing how low it was sitting in the water from just that weight. Blows. Hopefully its all behind us.

Hey...

Sorry, I have been incredibly busy lately. Boat is in, I am having Cummins do some maintenance on the boat, the floor panels are out and the motors are all apart so I can't use it yet. But I have a few projects that I want to get started on. Thermal Vision, new TV in salon, new VHF radios, and maybe new flooring.

Can't wait for the air show.
 
And...........Don't forget the Slushee machine!
