Hopefully not this:Buddy from across the bay got me into Margaritas again this year. Patron, Grand Mariner and grape fruit juice, splash of pineapple juice. But I found those to be dangerous.
Wondering what next year's choice will be.
In a big glass:
1.5 oz light rum
1.5 oz soda or 7up if you like sweeter
4 oz guava juice (if not in the regular part of the market, check the latin aisle)
Float some sweet dark rum on top.
The Guava Cooler, my invention, you have permission to use without paying a royalty
Breakfast: Beer
Lunch: Beer
Afternoon: Margarita on rocks no salt
Dinner: nice glass of Red wine
Evening: Vodka water
. And numerous other gins work, too. Some of my favorites: Bluecoat, Citadel, Empress.
Oh, and you can put a lime, cucumber slice, lemon, or whatever else in it, but I prefer you don't.
“Downscope”
One shot, white rum, gin and vodka. Add equal parts of lime drink and orange drink, mix and serve over ice. Secret is to use “drink” not juice. Be careful they sneak up on you. Very tasty and refreshing. Enjoy!
Nolet's and tonic. Good tonic, like Fever Tree. I like about a 50/50 mix of gin and tonic.
