Bow Thruster?

Hey Jim Maier, what's a good number to put up my 260 for? 2004, 250 hours, 5.0L, Bravo III, Garmin 3206, windlass. Quick estimate?

Thanks!

If it was my boat I would put it on the market at $41K and expect to get about $37K. Assuming its in good shape and well equipped. This is based off actual sales figures.

That's pretty spot on Jim. The dealer is offering slightly less but using the tax savings to get me closer to that $40k mark. I would be getting the tax savings regardless so he's not doing anything special there.

Not that it seems too relevant to this thread anymore but I just got a quote of $6,700 to install a thruster in a 2005 300 from New England Bow Thruster

The closest current-event is the tragedy of the duo-deca-duplet mom and that also-obvious pending parenting deficiency.
Does anyone here know what a duo-deca-duplet mom is? I can't figure that one out.

I think this babble is drug induced... Some serious smokin' goin' on somewhere.

How is this permitted? Doesn't the CSR Forum Rules prohibit slanderous conduct?

This is not ambiguous. I am quoted, then cited as a pot smoker.

The existing policy permits personal insults provided the target isn't named. This post is a violation of that policy.

That pic has nothing to do with you, that's cr0ck1. Everyone knows that.

Do you feel paranoid? that is a side effect.

To get to the serious point, I'm not sure of the answer. But heres some food for thought based on my experience in trucking. When you are ordering a class truck like my Peterbilt. You have options available. Engine brakes "Jake Brakes" are commonplace but are still an option. They are worth more in resale of the truck than on the build sheet. If you have a truck without Jakes, good luck getting rid of it.
Not sure if that applys here but like I said food for thought.

Not when the offender runs the forum, silly, and one of the moderators repeats his posts like a trained monkey.
When you gonna catch on?

Careful there jg, one of those things just went haywire this week... wouldn't want you looking your hands there would ya?

Here's another one we use at work all the time. It's called TEN STEPS TO REPEATABLE BUSINESS SUCCESS.

1. Kill the horse.
2. Beat the dead horse.
3. Chop up the dead horse.
4. Throw the chopped up pieces into a blender and blend the dead horse.
5. Strain off the liquid.
6. Pour the liquid into ice cube trays. Cover the trays with saran wrap and insert toothpicks through the saran wrap into the middle of each cube.
7. Freeze into little Popsicles (horse-sicles?)
8. Sell the Popsicles at a roadside stand for $1.50 each.
9. Take the proceeds to the bank.
10. Buy a new horse.
Repeat

Here we go with the dead horse again

So now I am the one that is attacking others? I don't think I have ever personally attacked anyone on here. Its the internet for Christs sake, get over it.

jg300da, I am really sensing that you like us otherwise you wouldn't hang around here so much. I can only pity all the other forum owners on the internet who's forums you don't go to. Imagine how badly run theirs must be if our is the one you choose to come to. Thank you for this indirect approval.

(Wesley, please repeat what I just said or you are fired)

That's not a personal attack it's a comparison using the term "like". Called a similie, you might have heard of it being college ejumicated and all. Nothing to get over. Just trying to keep the playing field level.
And I do like it here. Except for the handful of arrogant assholes that are worshipped on a daily basis, the majority of members are respectful and helpful. If you're going to have rules apply them to all. I think that's all Wingless is trying to say.
