Don't count me in, I will need to check and see if it works. Besides, you guys don't want a moderator walking around telling what you can say, how you should hold your fork at dinner, etc. You guys have fun, if I can make it work I will let you know. Thanks again for the offer.

I would like to join you guys as long as you're okay with a CSR newby being there. That's assuming I have my 340 by then!

Flyerfan, all are welcome. Seriously.

It looks like that weekend will work for us although we have a wedding to attend in NY the weekend after that. I want to make this more of a week long vacation for us. I'm thinking something like this:

Thursday (19 Jun) Oxford
Friday (20 Jun) Annapolis
Sat/Sun (21/22 Jun) BIH
Monday (23 Jun) St Michaels
Tuesday (24 Jun) Galesville (<- might spend this night on the hook in the West River)

That would get us home by Wednesday, probably have to head to NY that Thursday. The short legs between ports should help us avoid the long bumpy (and wet) ride we had up and back last year, plus it will help us get the most bang for our fuel buck$.

CSR folk are welcome to join us at any point.

Here's the current list from what I can gather:

Me on a 44DB. I will probably have two or three other boats with me as well.
Ryan on a 52DB
Gary on a 480DB
Frank (Impulse III) on a 410DA
Dom (osd9) on a 410DA
Jim (jrirvine) on a 300DA
Larry (rivergalsman) on a 44DB
Skip on a 420DA

Wesley at the Marriott across the street by way of BWI airport.

Better hurry to sign up, there are only seven and a half months to go!

If the stars are all aligned properly during the off season we may have a 420 DA by June, or maybe I should just skip over the bigger dancer and go straight for the sedan bridge, because it looks like this is what we all eventually end up with anyway. Probably be cheaper in the long run.

The words "cheaper" and "boating" are never used in the same thought sequence.

Tim, if you need any help with the coordination effort, let me know.

Wesley, you need to be there if for no other reason than to protect yourself....

Frank, I'm counting on your for name tags... we can talk about this over the winter from the comfort of our indoor storage facility!

Sounds like a good time planned !

I would love to show up for this, but looking at the charts & maps it looks like a looooooooooooong journey for this Small Boat Guy.

Maybe I will pluck up the nerve by then....

Can't you have it hauled there? hauled back?

Thought of that briefly...

Thought of making the long trek, but with 2 kids, 2 dogs and the Admiral on a 290... I was afraid of Mutiny !

Anyone got a Trailer and a Truck you can loan a fellow boater down on his luck?

Did some preliminary searches and all I came up with is long haul stuff. All I really need is someone to haul it due east to the bay and back. That way I can cruise up from Annapolis. Make it a week long trip anyways, just not spend alot of it in-transit.

OK, I have reserved the "Party Pad" for 6/21 and 22 which includes a big tent and a bunch of picnic tables. To hold that reservation, we need to get deposits in for at least ten boats. plus I want us to reserve all the spots surrounding the pad so we can be as obnoxious as we want without anyone complaining.

Here's the deal...

Everyone who is coming should send a $30 check ($15/night) to Inner Harbor East marina. Please be sure to include your boat name, LOA and beam. Let them know that you are with the Club Sea Ray group that is coming on June 21st and 22nd, 2008.

Send the check to:

Inner Harbor East Marina
801 Lancaster Street
Baltimore, MD 21202

Yes I know, sending a check is so primitive (I'll have to dig out my checkbook from Lord-only-knows-where and then buy a stamp somewhere), but it won't kill you.

Thanks Tim. I got my letter done and check wrote and it is sitting by the door...
