It was great to place some faces with all the screen names. Joanne and I realy enjoyed the trip and look forward to future meetings. The Saturday dinner was over the top.

What a great time we had with everyone and we are now looking forward to other get togethers.

A special thanks to the human fenders that assisted with our arrival docking.

Just had the pleasure of running back to the narrows with Full Circle and what a great day for a ride!

The dinner out with everyone with all the “man food” was excellent and I’m guessing will be a tradition at future gatherings.

Our dog no longer has the runs, now she is constipated – must have been all the chicken wings someone brought.

Probably the PINK Vodka we gave her Saturday night............

Hi Gary,
Engagement party was great. Not much tea though, Seems people in Northern Florida are personally trying to deplete the local supply of Bud Lite! They almost made it!

If I can sell the boat, my daughter can have a real wedding. If not, she's SOL!:smt043

Diesel on the water $3.99 9/10. (I think it was the St. Marks River.... I may move!!!!

Beautiful in Northern Florida.

In Cape Charles, VA right now with the boat, gas on the road here is $3.99/gallon. Gas at the dock is $3.95/gallon. Cheaper to boat than it is to drive here....

I think a lot of the marinas are just taking the markup off the fuel so they can sell ANY of it.

BiH was fantastic. Just got back in myself. Definately not enough time to meet everyone and do all the things we wanted to do. I think next year we will get there early.

The Bay was great heading down to Spring Cove yesterday, nice and easy.. must have been the sissy part of the bay. Left this morning and the bay was still nice, but a bit rougher.
The lower Potomac was a real pain in the 290, slowed a bit and plowed through. We made it to Colonial Beach to fuel up, but no one was home. Seems they are closed on Tuesday! Wish they had told me that on Friday

Made it to Quantico with 11 gallons left in the tank and bought some of their $4.91/gal gasoline to make it home. Saw Truly Blessed buttoned up tight. I mentioned to the crew that the lower Potomac wouldnt have been so bad in something that size. I saw the Admiral eyeing it carefully as we departed.

Stopped at Tims Rivershore and ate. Finished the cruise home full, fat and happy.

Rinsed off the boat to get rid of all the salt spray and promised her a good washing tomorrow.

We had a great time, and already are planning for next year as well as a couiple trips to Colonial Beach and Solomons. Definately going to get their early next year to have time to do more, and recover from the journey there.

The kid at spring cove who took my money for the diesel was the Marina owner's daughter. She said things are really, really slow. Wonder if we will all get some old crappy diesel this summer...if the Marinas can't sell what they have, no point in ordering any more.
The Racor filter guys will do bang up business, as will the biocide retailers.

Gotta love it.

Randy, glad you guys had a good run home and well done-that is a long run, whether in a 420 or a 290! Great to meet you guys. We are at Colonial Beach 3-6 July, then probably a few trips to Old Town and the National Harbor after that.
Will see you on the river.

It was great meeting everyone! Still upset I couldn't stay Sunday night looks like everyone had a blast at the restaurant ;) and I am dissapointed I didn't get a chance to check out some of the other larger Sea Ray engine rooms.

Leaving Sunday evening I finally got a chance to pound out a few nice three to four footers in the new boat on the way home down the bay around Thomas Point - was crazy windy - but the boat did well. I though to myself "geeze this is going to be a pain for the guys who have to travel far South Monday", so its good to hear the wind died out and the bay calmed to give a smooth ride home Monday.

Can't wait to meet everyone again and get a chance to take a better look at some of your boats at the next event!

Skip,

I really wanted to thank you for a tour of your boat. I will keep it in mind if and when we decide that we may move up in size. Awesome boat and very very meticulously maintained.

Craig

Craig, it was our pleasure, and thanks for the compliment. I put a lot of time into keeping Truly Blessed II up, and I appreciate your noticing.
Like 99% of Sea Ray owners we love to have folks aboard and I will admit I really like showing other Sea Ray guys the engine room.
My wife does not now, nor will she ever, get the whole "I am going into the ER" deal.

regards

This was our first CSR event, but it won't be our last. Thanks to everyone.
