Same issue here, but mine was stuck in the closed position. Had to remove the outer wooden trim to get access to the actuator. There was lots of pressure on the front bolt (stb), and I had to grab the bolt with a vice grips to wiggle it out, but once removed the TV came down (the actuator had to be guided above the headliner). The rear bolt (closest to the back of the galley) was much easier to remove, but watch the 2 spacers. Once removed I took it apart (of course I ignored the "NO SERVICEABLE PARTS" warning) and concluded the my motor is fried. Now I am looking for a replacement motor or a shop that can fix it. Does anyone know a source for this motor? The pic shows all the part numbers and various internal parts.

Were your main stripes tapered?

when I say tapered, I mean the curve to the hull. Both colors were the same width from stern to bow.

My white line is definitely tapered by a lot from bow to stern….. blue rules
The taper looks better. There's one thing for sure, SR made some darn nice looking boats during this period. I have people almost every time I'm at the boat that comment on it's looks. They're surprised when I tell them it's almost 20 years old. It's so pretty it don't have a best side. This pic is at Thunder Bay, Ont.

Exactly the same…. I get compliments all the time

I’m looking to keep water from entering the engine room and would like caps that have the rubber strap that keeps it connected to the gasket type collar under the holder plate.

Thnx, Did you cut the cap off the strap because the holes didn't line up with the ones in the rod holder base, or you just wanted a flush look?

Just wanted the flush look.
That said, I did lose one. Cheap enough to replace. Was a little more careful after that.

What are you guys using to fight the black spots (mold/dirt?) from appearing in the seams of your non skid?

omg……. I just went thru this on my swim platform last week…. With the dinghy sitting on it for a few weeks I got the black spots. I was with a Canadian and he gave me this stuff to try…… with a stiff not really stiff brush it came right off….and doesn’t remove wax. unfortunately the Stuff comes from Canada and couldn’t find a source. He was going to bring me a couple bottles Labor Day….. I boycott Amazon so you might try there…..
I was very impressed

Thanks, screw Jeff Bezos... I never bought anything from Amazon! What do you protect your non skid with, once it's clean? I've had a couple of guys recommend Woody Wax.

No …..woody wax is a joke…..I just use my own wax…..not sure why it didn’t work this year the wax should not have allowed the mold to get into the pores…..I use a wool pad on a rotary to get the wax off after applying it….. I have never had the mold problem and assumed the dinghy shading the swim platform caused it……who knows….it’s a boat

Never had a black spot issue on the non skid until I used the Woody Wax in the blue metal spray bottle. I have had good success with Starbrite Non Skid Cleaner followed by their Nom Skid Wax.
