The mid-cabin door is a real b***h to close and open. See the picture below of the roller bracket and let me know what you think or if any of you have had the same issue. Much appreciated.

My TV above my refrig went out and removed it....what a huge space. Has anyone found a nice way to cover the whole? I was looking at Tambour sliding doors but they are wood species and I don't think I can get the finish to match the white (my kitchen area is white formica. Any suggestions? Or I could move the front TV (old school) back into the whole and lose the space.

I replaced ours with a stainless six-bottle wine cooler and storage for 4 reds on the side.

Good Morning Everyone,

Does anyone know the part number /size of the horn grill on the bow. Mine got knocked off in some heavy weather and need to get it replaced. Thanks for the help.

Has anyone modified their generator fuel lines to have the option to draw/return from either the Starboard or Port fuel tanks? If so, can you post some pics or explain what you did. Mine operates only from SB tank (which is drained awaiting repairs/replacement) and I like to have the gen running when I'm on the hook diving. I could just install a "T" in the port lines for the existing gen fuel lines but I'm thinking of adding a crossover board similar to the one SR installed for the engines.

Has anyone removed the curved backrest on the starboard side? Of course, I am experiencing some rot and want to remove it. I can see that there are screws into the fiberglass below the arch but I am at a loss as to how to get to the back side of this bolster to remove it. Suggestions?

Thanks!

There are 4 bolts holding this piece on. First two are accessed from behind the captain's chair...mine has a plastic access panel w 6 screws. The third one (leave this one for last) you access from the bottom and slide your hand up from laying on the floor (bolt in the corner). And the fourth one is the hard one...the one all the way towards the stern. Pull out the access panel door on the starboard side, remove the carpeted panel that hides the auto-pilot unit, remove the 2x4 pillow blocks. Then put both shoulders thru the access door and inch up toward the bolt. You can see it but can't touch it!. Inch up a little more and you got it! So much fun!!

Sounds similar to my 410. I used a rachet with a 9" extension and a deep socket since the bolt through the nut was too long for a regular socket. Good luck.

Forgot to mention, the access door on the starboard side needs to be removed with the frame (and not just remove the door). this will give you some additional room to squeeze your shoulder thru the opening. and yes, you need a 7/16" deep socket.

That's just what I was afraid of. I am 6'3 and 220 pounds. This sounds like a lot of fun.........maybe if I buy the Mrs. a bottle of Champagne and hand her the tools. Hmmmm. I was actually thinking of removal of the speaker bolster and trying to get through that way.

I guess after this weekend I will go down to the boat and prepare to cuss! Thanks'!

you might fit....bring some lubricant. Short people can't reach it. You can't get at it from the top.

Oh joy...........and I hate the thought of paying someone to do something I should be able to do myself. Advil before and beer after sounds like the plan. Thanks for the advice.

Hi

I've for some time tried to find where I can find the upper roller brackets for the mid-cabin in my 2001 410 EC. I've also tried to post the same question here some months ago, but without any result. Any suggestions anyone? I'm not able to insert any image by some reason, but I hope you know which rollers I'm looking for.

Regards Terje

It may help if you were a bit more descriptive. What rollers are you talking about, the sliding doors?

Re: 410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread

Yes, it's the upper roller brackets for the sliding door in the mid-cabin.

I'm not able to upload any photos, but please see post from Wet Dogggg July 14th. who has the same issue.
