What a disaster! Sloppy game but congrats to Panther fans. They have AZ so spun there is no way they can make a run to get back. If they do, it would be epic.
 
Notice the Broncos messed with the Pats iPads so they did not work first half. Just sayin :)

Do over, the panthers look so solid. Who was it earlier this year that said Carolina was weak but winning because they were in the SouthEast. I'm not calling anyone out, I think it validates how hard it is to see the quality of a team with only a few strong ones and so many that are weak.

Please, someone tell me that Carson Palmer is having the worst game of his entire life.

Yes I've seen a few dropped balls, and the play calling is nothing short of sophomoric, but either he has been poisoned via his hotel food, he is having a really brain dead game or he just plain sucks.

Which one is it?
 
Parity seems to be alive and well in the NFL. Carolina is certainly better than I thought they were.

I got both of today's games totally wrong.

There were several that talked about the records of the opponents that Carolina played....doesn't matter...you aren't 15-1 in the season be being a bad team. Just like any other sport playoffs it's who's playing the best at the time....facts are facts....the number 1 team from each conference is in the SB and considering what Newton can do I'm picking them....easy peasy.
 
He is having a tough game but is being pressured a lot too. Look at the AFC game where Brady was getting pounded. How can a QB be successful when he is being hit every time he drops back?

Quick release short screens. Every one they ran (with the exception of the dropped balls) was successful. Almost every deep ball was thrown into double coverage and Carolinas defensive game plan was not going to allow rushing the ball between the tackles.
 
Yeah, Palmer looked overmatched yesterday, that's for sure. Pretty painful to watch unless you are a Panther fan. Hopefully it will be a good Super Bowl! I am getting tickets to some VIP events so that should make up for the NFL shutting down part of Market Street! The city will be a mess while ESPN and the NFL, along with every news agency in the world, are there stuffing the hotels, restaurants and streets.:smt021
 
Humph, last year when the SB was held here in Phoenix, GW and I volunteered for "AZ Superbowl Central", a group that was positioned around the downtown area to act as info sources and guides to visitors from out of town. It was a bit on the boring side but also fun. They gave us jackets and polo shirts for our efforts. You might check to see if there's something similar in your area.

Denver getting beat by the NFC team?

I would say that is a safe bet. Though don't put too much stock in what I say, I'm 6-4 in the playoffs this year after going O-fer yesterday.

not just getting beat but getting embarrassed....again....score in 48 was 43-8 Seahawks.
 
The Panthers are now my favorite team...........................................to hate! The 'Niners just got dropped of the hate list.

Cam is #1 on the hate list. The Panthers are #2. The list is short after that.

On an unrelated note: It was interesting to take note of the fact that even though the Cards were playing for the championship, we have seen a LOT more Seahawk garb down here than Card garb.

Just saying!
