2015-16 Football thread - any team banter welcome.

If Denver doesn't generate more offense, they won't beat NE. I'm not sure who I'm picking yet, I'm leaning NE and AZ. Both games this weekend should be very good and pretty close. Looking forward to watching them.

Wilson picked a heck of a day to have a bad game. He over-threw a few long passes that he usually makes. I too am trying not to be in a bad mood.

I could care less about football now but I think AZ was watching closely and they will beat the Puddy Tats.

I'm thinking Arizona and New England for Super Bowl. Can't see Broncos getting past The Pats.

I would not have watched another Super Bowl with Pete Carroll in it. So I'm a happy camper. Come on Arizona!!!

The Panthers impressed me in that first half against the Seahawks (who I considered better at D than the Cardinals) so I'm going Panthers. I was also impressed with Denver in the second half against the Steelers...the way they're playing now I don't think the Pats have the D that Denver has....Broncos.

Haven't been able to post anything football related since Sunday, the paper cats D did shut out the Hawks in the 1st half, Hawks shut them out in the 2nd half.

I'll take Arizona 38-30
If newton gets to the SB I won't even watch the low class flag snatching from a kid punk.

Rankings in the playoffs mean nothing the Broncos are the #1 ranked defense in the NFL panthers #6 Arizona #5.

Me too, but I desperately hope to see Brady sitting on the field after the game with tears in his eyes.

I too wish for that, but alas I really doubt that outcome. After going 7-1 in the first 2 weeks of the playoffs I'm really struggling to make a pick here.

The Pats play the Cards in the Super Bowl.

well good to see that at least ONE of us picked correctly in the early game (me )........easy to pick the Broncos now for the SB. The next one won't be as close......Panthers.......to complete my prediction.

your welcome :smt038

so glad brady and the patriots lost. he looked a little 'deflated' :smt043 now if the cards win tonight it will be a good day (not that i care that much about the NFC representative).

Man, the Broncos were relentless in their pass rush. Having no running game really killed the Pats. Missing an extra point ended up being the difference. As bad as they were on Brady, it came down to that. The Broncos can only win with defense since Manning is a statue and their running game isn't great. BTW, Carolina is doing it again in the first half!
