    Furuno 711c autopilot

Anyone have a furuno 711c autopilot? I'm trying to decide on a new autopilot, I like the 711c but have reservations about buying one because I think it's discontinued from what I've read. I'd like to know if anyone has one and if they like it, Thanks! Dan

What's wrong with this idea? drain hoses on the manifolds and block

I've been thinking about this for years, and the older I get the better it sounds. Getting behind the engines, between the gas tanks and the engines to get at the drain valves is a real pain in the a.. what if I took the brass fittings off the manifolds and blocks and installed new fittings with...

not that I'm unhappy with the 390, but I'm thinkin about a 97 500 Sundancer or similar year. Is there anything special to watch out for on the 500DA? I drive slow a lot, so I'm not sure what would be the best engine, but I'm hoping someone will know. I'll be in Alexandria bay, New York, tomorrow...

    Y2k on the old 89 390 express

I've been messing with the GPS (I have no chartplotter) and got it to talk to the autopilot. It doesn't seem to like me putting in the year 2010. So I'm thinkin, would a new chartplotter talk to the autopilot or would it be like the Jettsons talking to the Flintstones? The two units I have...
