I have an area in the forward berth where the headliner is coming loose, the area is about 10 inches in diameter. Does anyone know a way to address this? Thanks!

I've got a spot like that also.
I think I'm going to cut a small slit with a razor knife, and using a small epoxy brush through the slit brush some adhesive on the underside.
Main thing would be not to overdo the adhesive where it'll bleed through. The slit/cut shouldn't be noticeable.

I, too, would be interested to hear if anyone has a better suggestion.

I have a 44 foot Sea Ray Convertible, 1988. The front headliner is stained and comming down. I am looking at trying to repace it, I think its beyond repair? I am interested to see what responses you get, good luck with your project.

Slitting with a blade can work. But, before you cut actual slices, try a hypodermic needle filled with adhesive. Do small areas (just a couple square inches) at a time, using minimal amounts of adhesive. As Tob mentioned, be VERY careful with how much adhesive you squirt in there. You only get one chance. Too much and it will show through.

:smt101If you have a foam underliner, that's even more fun as you'll sometimes need to squirt the adhesive between the foam and the deck and other times... get ready, this is really fun...between the foam and the headliner. All while working upside down or above your head. Good luck.

It's a challenging job, but definitely one that the tortoise would win.
