shower faucet

Hi Everyone, It's been a while, anyone know where to get a shower faucet repair kit for an 89 express if there is such a thing? I'm guessing the pink stuff did in the washers or o-rings or something in my shower faucet, it's all messed up and leaking when I turn it on. any tips on installing would be great too. Thanks, Dan

Dante, it’s just a home faucet! I replaced mine with a new Grohe.

The pink stuff actually helps to lubricate seals.

I don't know, myself, of a rebuild kit - you might try looking on the faucet for some identifying marks to find the manufacturer, then contact that manufacturer. Otherwise, take it apart and take it to a hardware store - you might be able to match up, at least, orings/seals. Other than that, replace.

No, no ...we have a separate shower stall... (big boat, you know :grin::grin::grin and just a shower mixer like that:

I have one of those, use it all the time on our 7 week trip each summer.

It's just a home faucet, correct, and on my 390 is from Grohe!

Thanks again, now i just need some time to install it, the first of the month is coming, the day I'm homeless but not boatless,

now the fridge is acting up, I defrosted it, but, we'll see what happens, I had to put it all the way up on full to get 38 degrees, tomorrow I'll know if there will be a huge repair bill, do they recharge these things or do i just reach deep in the pockets? thanks dudes,
