I had the same issue and there is a spring type valve and as the pressure builds up in the system it pulls the spring up and this shuts off the pump. Over time the spring wears out and needs to be replaced. The spring being worn out does not hold in place and leaks pressure and then the pump...

Alex and James you guys were spot on! Thank you for your help! I was unaware of the additional breaker. I flipped it today and the windless fired right up, however the "up" foot swtich is stuck and the windless won't shut off. I am not sure if there is a fix for this other than to replace?

I would think the breaker would trip before the motor burned out? At least I hope that is the case.

When I was pulling up the anchor this weekend the foot pedal seemed to stick in the on position and once the anchor reached the top, the windless would not stop and was chattering and finally stopped. Now there is no response from either foot pedal and the up and down switches at the helm only...

Sounds like your water pump is shot...I just had the same thing happen to me. Not a hard fix.

Sounds like you have one battery switch on and one is off. The battery switches is located on the side of the captains chair.

I ordered mine directly from the dealership. It is the same mount used on the new 330/310's and is great b/c it is easy to put up and take down and very sturdy.

I have one installed at the helm...on the 320 the Ipod jack was in the cabin...made no sense. So i just disabled that jack and ran it to the helm and used the same hook up as Kreole mentioned. Pretty easy to do.

What size rail mount did he say to go with? I assume the small would be big enough any of the rails on the boat? Also, did you go with the solid or mesh?
