Got this message this weekend which I know means low coolant fluid. Thing is the coolant level is fine...what could be causing this?

Did you recently change the coolant? There have been posts on here about air getting trapped in the system after a change that had to be bled out. You could search and find that info. If not possibly a bad sensor?

LOC refers to lack of fresh water flow if I recall correctly. Loss of Coolant rather than low coolant fluid. Sounds like strainer or impeller.

I had exact same code - it was a defective impeller and should be changed.

Pretty easy to check if sufficient water is flowing out. Heck, I can tell by feeling the temp with my hand when enough water is being circulated versus when it's getting hot meaning an impeller is going.

I agree on the impeller... the LOC is the same as EC62 which is what I had. When I changed the impeller, it only had 2 out of 6 blades left. I never did find the other pieces... I will look again this fall when I winterize.

To easily get the pieces of impeller try this. Close sea cock, pull off the output side hose off the pump, and use a shop vac on this hose to suck out the pieces. Works like a charm on my genny. Oh, be sure exhaust "flapper" (if you have one) is open so you get a good vacuum. You don't want those pieces in the heat exchanger restricting water flow.

Could be the impeller, or a clog in the seacock or strainer or anywhere else in the system.
