I know this is not the place for other brand questions, but I feel the best of the best reside on this forum so I thought it would be alright to ask.
I am about to close on a 2008 Formula 40 PC w/ Volvo D6 diesel IPS engines with 300 hours. I have read both good and bad about these engines and wanted to see if anyone here cared to share their thoughts/experiences with these engines and what I should look out for. The survey took place today and the port side drive was leaking oil as was the starboard engine filter and oil pump. I think those are minor fixes, but wanted to be sure before I commit to purchase.
