Thanks for the info, I will try the switch on the back of the Tach and maybe this weekend pull the boat from the water and look at the hole on the bottom of the drive.

I actually already purchased the transom mount transducer to go with the gps, I was just wondering if it would be easier to use the factory unit instead of having to drill holes in the boat and figuring out where/how to run cables, but for the difference in price it looks like the aftermarket...

It seems my Transducer may not be working? Depth and sea temp are not working on the guages? Any ideas to check and see if it is not working other than the lack of readings? Also can I use the factory Transducer with an aftermarket gps/finder?

Sorry for the delay getting back to you I was on a cruise last week. Tomorrow I will go to the dock and take some pictures of the path I ran the cable and I will post and put some narrative with it may be a little easier this way to explain, if you have not done this yet.
