Snap in carpet backnig sticks to the floor

Try easy off oven cleaner on a small area first to test it. Before applying it, wash the area thoroughly with ammonia/water to remove everything on the surface, even the wax, and you shouldnt get any yellowing. I have heard that it has been used to remove painted on names from the aft of boats...

Tragic accidents on Lake George this weekend

I made the executive decision to cancel our fun day on the water based on my review of the weather yesterday morning. My wife and I planned to take two other couples out to Silver Glen springs on Lake George. This lake can get real ugly real fast and has been know to produce 6'-8' swells during...

    Service Question

I have a 4.3 Mercruiser. I am familiar with the once a year or every 100 hour recommendation. However, I only average 30 hours a year. Do I really need to follow that interval? How bad would it be to stretch it to every two years or 60 hours? Thanks,

    Child PFD Recommendations

That thread mostly applies to Infant sizes. My concern is that my daughter is between the the infant and child size. Im afraid that she may sink with the infant size and that she may slip out of the child size. :smt017

    Child PFD Recommendations

As we all know, child safety always comes first on the water. I am having trouble determining which type/size PFD would be the best for our daughter. She is 2yrs. old, 25lbs, slim and slender. From what I have found most of the infant PFD's are rated up to 30lbs, and the Child PFD's are rated...

    Boat Cover

I currently have canvas snap on bow and cockpit covers that I use on a regular basis. However, the sides and other uncovered areas accumulate a lot of dust (kept in a tarped enclosure). I was thinking about covering with a cheap polyester cover on top the custom canvas covers to keep the...

    Battery Switch

I am now officially confused now :smt017. It seems like everyone has a slightly different opinion:huh:. I agree with the procedure above, but can you switch back to both with the engine running? I know that you should never switch it off.

    Crystal River Scallop Season

I am planning a weekend to Crystal River this year to do some scalloping. I am new to this and do not know of any good spots. Does anyone have any coordinates/locations that they would not mind sharing with me? Maybe we can get a group of us together or something?

    First crank of the year

She fired right up. I just pumped it two more times following the first pump to set the choke.

    First crank of the year

I am not so much worried about the battery as I am for getting the engine cranked easier

    First crank of the year

It's been four months since I started my boat. This is the longest I have ever waited between cranks.... However, everytime I fill up I put Sta-bil in the tank. Any tips that may save my battery life other than the typical (1) pump to activate the choke routine? 4.3L Mercruiser (Carb)
