If my power trim was to fail at the ramp, etc.. Is there a such thing as a manual overide, if so where?

It depends on why it fails.

Sometimes the motor for the pump overloads and trips a breaker. Somewhere in the engine compartment is a round red button that would need to be pushed to reset.

If the switch goes out you can bypass it and raise or lower the drive by jumping the contacts on the solenoid. You can either use a jumper wire to go from the hot side of the solenoid to the appropriate terminal to go up or down. The blue wire is up (blue for sky) and its been so long I can't remember if it is brown or green for down.

If the whole thig takes a crap you can always remove the trim cylinders and tie or block the drive up to get you home.

These are things I have done in the past. Others may have some better advice.

There is a manual valve on the side of the hydraulic trim pump. Open the valve, position the drive and then close it again.

Best regards,
Frank

I forgot about the valve. I found out about it after I had done all the other stuff.
