Anyone slipped at Lake Lewisville have a good Mercruiser Mechanic they can recommend. I've heard good things about Mike's Mobile Marine - Mike Terito... has anyone used his services?.
I need someone that can haul out and trailer my boat to their shop from Cottonwood Creek Marina and do...
I've been trying to find out the answer to this question from many sources to no avail. Does the following Mercruiser Control have a dent adjustment screw adjustment on it anywhere? The Mercruiser manual shows a screw but I don't see it when I remove the cover. They are used to adjust the...
Hi all!
We need a recommendation for a mobile waxing / detailing service for Cottonwood Creek Marina on Lake Lewisville. We used to use Yacht Docs but they don't do Lewisville anymore. :smt100
Thanks!
How do you clear "tracks" before heading out. I've got a mess of tracks I can't get rid of without turning the tracks feature off. :smt101
What am I missing???? The manual is useless. :smt021
Thanks!
Went to the Lewisville Marinemax and went about this beauty with the wife. Has the Zues pod drives, Auto trim Tabs and is as beautiful as she looks. Sales guy said suggested list is 800K but around $650K would take it. One of only 5 in the world. Nice boat to retire in Seattle on.... :grin...
I hear we're 10 feet above normal. Highport is flooded out and they are shutting down the power to the slips. I can't believe this crap. :wow: :smt101 :smt013
Oh well, we needed the rain anyway for the lower lakes. All part of boating fun... :smt089
I was wondering if anyone knows of a source online or a store that carries this type of connector. I plan on upgrading my Rule In-Line Bilge Blower to a Jabsco continuous duty bilge blower and I want to make sure the connector is the proper type. I also want the same connector so I can easily...
Have you guys seen this... :wow: :wow: :wow: http://www.boatzincs.com/Mercruiser-Outdrive-Corrosion.html
Pays to keep up the mercathode system and anodes!
The admiral wants one of these. :smt043 I told her it costs more than our boat cost and probably weighs more... :wow: :smt043
Too cool... http://www.boattest.com/Resources/view_news.aspx?NewsID=3330
Just a quick question I just thought of: Are you supposed to shutoff the holding tank vacuum pump switch before a pump out or can you leave it on?
Anyone know the correct way to remove the side panel on my throttle so I can adjust the tension screw adjustments? I tried pulling out on the notched areas but it would not come off... feels like I would break it off. :smt021 :smt100
Where does the condensate (from the evaporator coil) drain to on a Norcold refrigerator on a 260 Sundancer? Into the bilge?
Reason I ask is I get a very small amount of water leaking from somewhere into the bilge pump area after I totally dry the bilge area. Seems to be coming from the mid...
I've finally experienced the "Honey, why is that boat honking it's horn" while we were both in the cabin while anchored in a mud bottom lake in a nice secluded cove in 25 mph winds. :wow::wow::wow:
Went topside to find we had dragged anchor about 500 feet and got within 10 feet of the shore...
We started checking around like many of you to see if we could save some money on our Insurance without giving up coverage.
Went through a bunch of different companies and then we were quoted by one broker a great rate with Seahorse, with agreed value, low deductibles. It is 50% less than...
I was wondering if anyone knows exactly what size (1/2"I.D. or 15mm I.D.) the hot and cold fresh water tubing is on my boat? Is the tubing made by Sea Tech or Whale?
I'm having water leaking trouble on the fittings at the water heater near the crimped on fitting area. :wow: :smt021 I'm...
I've been having intermittent problems with the kill switch lanyard pushing the switch open (off): go to start the engine and nothing... Smartcraft will not even come on. It seems the lanyard plastic loop that fits around the kill switch is just a hair too large and pushes the switch down...
I got the spares kit for the genny a while back but I can't seem to find the location of the anode on the heat exchanger. Where exactly is it? :smt100 :smt101
