It is brand new to me as of today. The existing hole will need to be made larger. Labor was 1250.00 at my boatyard . I’m all in about $1500.00. It was not a preference it was a necessity. Old girl came off on a Bimini crossing last month.
I now have the trim piece the backing plate and the original window, however damaged for sale. I went in a different direction and purchased the Bomar replacement option with opening functionality. I will let everything go for $200 plus shipping. I’m into the singular stainless trim piece for...
Update! I was able to source the SSTrim ring from Pompanette in Tampa. Reach out to Marty Barnet at mbarnett@pompanette.com

I can absolutely feel your pain!! I was advised, when looking for a coastal cruiser by mechanic to try to get Cummins engines because they are “bulletproof “! That had a lot to do with purchasing our 06 44DB. It only had 700hrs on the engines and everything seemed great!! Full RPM at WOT during...
Absolutely agree!!!! I hope that all of your cores are good, because finding them right now is next to impossible and extremely expensive!!! I too had a mechanic tell me he could “clean” them with barnacle buster, but thankfully knew he was in over his head. I paid him to pull them and reinstall...
I just went through all of that. I have a 2006 with 700 hours on it I am the third owner. Evidently no one has pulled them apart before. One side was good the other was not had to seal off a couple tubes in order for it not to leak. The O-rings are expensive and can be hard to find. It is a must...
