I am trying to locate the amp for the Clarion sound system (cockpit) on my 2005 525DA. Its the same as the 50DA in the US. Looked everywhere but cannot see where it is located.

Thanks for your comments. It has qsm 11 640hp. We will be doing coastal cruising sydney to portstevens etc and hope it will do a good job outside in 1-1.5M seas (normal for nsw coats) My 36 sedan bridge did ok in it. I hope to take delivery before Xmas wil post photos ASAP

Very excited just placed deposit on 2006 sundancer a big step up from my 36 sedan bridge. any comments on them good or bad

What version do you have. I went into setup in the clock and it shows v1.9.1. Is this the latest version

Just give them your Hull number and they should be able to work out what you have and what needs upgrading. I am not sure what the upgrade is until I get it. They just said new modules and cable from clock to bridge. I will post once I get it.

I have a switch in the starboard cockpit cupboard This turns the power off to the clock/computer. All is then shut off wait for 60 seconds and switch on. This is different to reprogramming all modules from the station in the galley.

Had the boat just over two years. No real problem in that time however in the past month I had to reset the main switch for the clock (computer) twice as the touch screen froze.

I noticed from the photos the the boat did not have the e-plex system (touch screen) is this new to 09 boats. Why have they discontinued the old system.
