36 Sedan Bridge Owners

Mike:

Will do so this evening when back in the office.

FYI, my email is don@turnerworld.com
Royal Flush:

After having a problem with the batteries my eFlex system went black and would not respond. My fix is as follows (Note: the "did not work" comments were for Sea Ray Service who offered an approach that I had to modify):

1. Undid the screws around the panel - excluding those attached to the hinge (though you do need to take off the two lower corners)

2. Undid both red wires

3. Putting the red 12 gauge wire DID NOT put the system back on. *Putting both back on after taking off for ten seconds also DID NOT work.

4. Leaving both off for at least a minute (i.e., must be a capacitor in the circuit) and then putting on the 12 guage power and then the 14 guage data line DID bring the screen back to life.

Note, pretty much everything will be off so you need to manually turn back on things like AC, etc.*on the screen.

Hope this helps

This is not a very good pix, if you want something closer and a description of how it was done let me know. Will probably be at the boat this weekend.

Don-Thanks for the response- Do you have to do this often? Are you happy with the boat? Thanks again, Mike
No, only did once.

Love the boat. For just my wife and I on Lake Lanier - north of Atlanta, GA - it is a great boat. Love the "Sedan Bridge" part - being above the water and we also like the idea that we aren't "stepping into a hole" like we did with our 340 SunDancer. We are more about relaxing and putt putting - don't need to race around anymore.

My cousin Pat Harmon lives on Lake Lanier and has a boat; I don't know if you know him.. Thanks for the info.. My wife and I had a 320 da and liked it but did not like the feeling of being in a cave also-We just putt putt now too!

Can Admin. change the title of this thread to "36/390 Sedan Bridge Owners"? Same boat...

I have been talking to sea ray my boat is a late 2007 there ia an upgrade to the Eplex system , new modules and the wire from the clock to the bridge. They are sending out the modules and the wire and instructions. should get it in about 3 weeks they say it will make the system more reliable I wll post when I install modifications. I must add they have been very helpful with good fast communications

What were EPLEX up grades, and how would you know what version you have now in relation to the newer version

Fitzroy,
I see you are from Sydney. I am down here this week working, you have some great boating down here.

Just give them your Hull number and they should be able to work out what you have and what needs upgrading. I am not sure what the upgrade is until I get it. They just said new modules and cable from clock to bridge. I will post once I get it.

Hey guys,
Thinking about putting zipper windows in the port and stb side of the fly bridge. It gets very hot when you are sitting and is a pain to take down the canvas.
Pros-Cons?

Hello, as CMG, I changed the canvas for integrated zippers for more power off the canvas quickly, I also changed the canvas cockpit for more light. I also installed a wood floor flexy-teack I am making two wooden tables that I should receive soon, I'd take pictures, I use a translator because my first language is French, I hoped that this translation is not too weird.

As you can see in this picture, I had the canvas guy cut a smile in my front center panel and I put male snaps on the hardtop and female on the canvas so i would not have to roll it.....I just snap it to the hard top.......I did the same with the center panel in the back one too.....
